Tom went to work at 2 today and then me and mummy came home and started tidying up, i chose the music, it was Slayer, reigning blood and rage against the machine. I like that music. We tidied the living room and sorted lots of things out for the carboot sale we are all doing tomorrow. I started to be a pain in the bum though, wanting to play with the toys instead, so mummy found some sparkly nail varnish and said i could paint my own nails!! I said, what, i can do it myself, mummy said yes, i was really happy. I smiled and said that must mean i'm getting bigger now.

This week i have been having more and more nightmares, mummy and Tom think its because i'm worried and nervous about starting my new class in September. I have told mummy that i feel scared and nervous. Mummy and Tom keep reminding me what fun we're going to have in the summer holidays, mummy told me that its 6 weeks long, i held 6 fingers up and counted them and then said, but thats not long.

Saturday 16th July 2011

When we got up today, i only had an orange for breakfast because mummy reminded me that we are going to witney to see Toms family for breakfast. I was excited about that. Mummy done my hair, i have 5 french plaites, i like mummy doing my hair like that. We took a picnic with us because mummy said we could have a car picnic. When we got there, we had to find his family in Sainsburys, when we found them, i gave his mum, Julie a present and a card that i wrote for her last night.

We went and had breakfast when they finished their shopping, then Julie came and sat with us, i kept showing off hehe. I ate loads of breakfast. When we had finished, we walked to the car to get my rain coat as it was raining lots. Then we walked in to Witney with Toms mum. Julie had to go and find Toms nan and i needed a wee, so we went another way. After my wee, me and mummy went to look in a shop for waterproof trousers for me and Tom went to look for games. Then we met up and went in another shop, there weren't trousers, but there were some nice shoes and sandals, i tried them on and mummy and Tom bought them both for me, i was very lucky, i also got a new drinking bottle too. Then we went and bought a box of maltesers for us all to share at our car picnic. We met with Toms mum again (his nan had gone back to the campervan-its called bertie!!) I splashed in puddles on the way back, that was lots of fun. Julie called me a little mermaid, that was funny. We said bye and then we had to go in to sainsburys to find me some trousers as mine were very wet. I tried them on in the changing room, mummy couldn't get my socks back on or my shoes, they were so wet. So i stayed without them, i liked that. Tom found some trousers and a skirt and i really liked both of them, so we bought them both. Mummy stood me in the boot of the car to get me changed, i liked that.  Then Tom said we were going to Jambinos (its got a new name, but i still think of it as that - soft play area) When we got there, luckily they had spare socks there. I went off to play and hardly went back to Tom and mummy, i had lots of fun.

Tom came with us this morning, i was in a funny mood all the way to school, walking funny, it was fun and Tom and mummy kept laughing at me. I like it when Tom comes with us too. He took me to my class with mummy.

On the way to school from Nana's car today, me and mummy were chasing each others shadows, stamping on each others heads, it was funny. I liked doing that!

Mummy cooked dinner today, it was mince, mashed potato and beans. She asked if i would like to try the mince, i said yes, i really liked it, i ate more than mummy. I asked what the mince was (mummy had told me they were baby sausages  to get me to try it) and mummy said its meat, i said oh i like meat now and mummy had to remind me that ham and sausage that i eat now is meat, so i started singing yay i like meat meat meat meat meat

When mummy picked me up from school today, we were going to Tesco to do some shopping. In the car park, we saw mummy's friends, mark and carole. Mark said they had two spare ice creams as there are 4 of them, and they had 6 ice creams, so me and mummy had one with them, they were yummy. We stood talking to them while we ate them and then they had to go. In Tesco, mummy bought some of the ice creams we had had outside because they were really nice.

When we got up today, it was very exciting, mummy reminded me that me and her are going to do a carboot sale today. We loaded the car up with boxes of things we wanted to sell and then mummy said she was just going to get her purse and then we could go. She went in to her and Toms room to say bye to Tom too. Then mummy took ages, so i went in and she told me she couldnt' find her purse, could i look in the living room incase its in there. I went in the living room (not to look though) mummy looked everywhere, she even went back down to the car to look. Tom got up, even though he doesn't have work til later. He looked everywhere too, even in the shed. Then when me and Tom were looking in the bedroom again, mummy came through and said 'guess where my purse was' we asked her where and she told us that it was in the fridge (mummy can't explain why she put it in the fridge, just that she did, last night, it made us all laugh lots)
Then it was time to go to the carboot sale. We drove there, i was excited. I helped mummy set our stall up and then we had to sit and wait for people to come and buy things. Lots of people came and looked at things and bought things. I helped by taking their money and then when mummy sorted their change out, i gave it to them. I liked the carboot sale, it was fun. Mummy had packed a picnic for us both so we sat and ate that too. I needed a wee and because it was only mummy and me, i had to wee near the car, mummy had bought her shewee with her so i could have a wee standing up, i like using that.
After we packed up, because we were having Kaamiel this afternoon, we went home again and unloaded the car, we didn't have as much this time because we had sold lots. Aunty Sam turned up with Kaamiel and we drove her to work and then we went to the toy shop to buy something for me with the money we had made selling my toys. We bought Kaamiel a dog teddy too, he really liked it. After we had been in Toys R Us for quite a while, we went to MacDonalds because we had to wait for Tom to finish work as mummy was picking him up. I even had pudding in MacDonalds. Then it was time to pick him up, so we drove to his work. At home, mummy made me and Kaamiel some dinner, and we ate it together. Kaamiel walked!! He took 3 steps and then sat on his bottom (mummy said that aunty sam said he had started walking in the week) Then it was time for me to go to bed, i wasn't too impressed as Kaamiel was still there, but i needed an early night

When we got up today we went to cowley centre because Tom wanted to take his old laptop there to sell. When we had done that, we went into town on the big bus, we sat at the top. Tom told mummy that he was going to buy her a ring, or some jewellery that she would like, so we walked around the jewellery shops to see what there was, mummy couldn't find anything that she liked. When we got to Argos, there were some rings that mummy liked in there but they didn't have them in her size. Mummy looked at small rings and asked if i would like one, i smiled a big smile. I chose a silver ring with a pink stone in (after first choosing the worst one there, gold ring with a football team on-mummy and Tom said no to that one hehe) Tom bought me the ring, i really liked it, i wore it straight away. Then we went to another jewellery shop to see if we could find something for mummy, her and Tom found one they both liked and mummy tried it on, it was pretty. It fit too, so Tom bought that for her. When we had all finished in town, we got on a big bus, because Nana had phoned, we are having her car for two weeks while she is on holiday. We went to Nana's house and Nana liked my ring, she asked mummy if her ring was an engagement ring, but mummy said it isn't. Nana didn't believe her (mummy says it isn't an engagement ring, just a pretty ring that Tom bought her) We stayed for a little while with Nana and then got in her car and drove home.

When I got up today, I went into the living room and gave the kittens lots of cuddles. Then Tom came through, he had his coat on (he's going to see his family in witney) when he had gone, I went into mummy and said remember, we're going to play bowling. I got a bowling set with a comic mummy bought me yesterday. There's a bowling alley with it. I'm not going to school today because its an inset day and mummy has a bad knee so she's not at work. We laid on her and Toms bed and played bowling, then mummy cut and stuck the alley. After we played that for a bit, I played some games on mummy's phone and mummy had a little nap. Then we got up, mummy asked if I would like breakfast, I said I've already had breakfast, but mummy smiled and said ah but what about pancakes. I got really excited. I ate loads of pancakes! Then we cuddle up on the sofa and watched tv together. Mummy asked me if I wanted my nails painted, I said yes, they are all different colours, like hers, I chose what colours I wanted. I have really liked today. Tom is on his way home from seeing his family too. Yay.

When mummy and Tom picked me up today, we started driving and mummy told me that they had done a carboot sale today, when i was at Nanny's house. Then they told me that i had some money to spend!! YAY! We drove to Toys R Us and we walked around and around. I like walking round there, its fun. Mummy told me to remember where the things i liked are, so we can look in the big Argos too, incase there is something different in there that i like. When we went to Argos, i couldn't find anything in there that i liked. We went to a couple of shops first, before going back to Toys R Us, i remembered where the aisle was, it was the pink aisle. The toy i wanted to buy was mini babyborns. We picked them up and mummy gave me my money from the car boot sale. I was so pleased that i had money to spend from it. In the car, i was looking at the dolls and asked mummy why the baby has a baby, mummy and Tom told me that it was just a toy, that baby's and children can't have babies really. I started singing 'baby and a baby' over and over again, then suddenly it was quiet, i had gone to sleep singing. At cowley centre, we got out, i was really tired, mummy said we were just going to look for a new lunch box for me. We found one of the hard ones that i have said i liked, where i can put my sandwiches in and then fruit in different bits. Tom found an army bag for my lunch box, i really liked that, so we bought them. Then we drove Nanas car to her house and waited for a taxi. I had an early night tonight as i had a late one last night (i played with my new toy first though)

Nana came and picked me and mummy up, then we drove to her hairdressers and she got out and we took the car, Aunty sam and Kaamiel were there, we then went and picked Tom up and then drove aunty Sam to her home. When we had dropped aunty Sam off with Kaamiel, we went bowling. But when we got there, mummy had a message from Nana, she said she was going to be finished earlier, so we had to stay in the car and go and pick her up now. We waited for Nana and then drove her home, when we dropped her off, we went bowling again. This time we went inside. I took my shoes off and put the socks on mummy had bought, because i'm wearing flip flops today, then put my special bowling shoes on.

After bowling, we drove to MacDonalds and we all had something to eat, that was good. I have really enjoyed today. Then mummy drove us to Nanny's house, i'm staying there tonight.

Today is Toms birthday!! I got up early and ran in to give him his present, he really liked them, he gave me a kiss and said thank you. We all got up and ready, i had breakfast and then we left to get the bus together. Tom was meeting his family. When we got to school, we had to go and see Sue, the headmistress, about my hearing aid. Mummy had phoned the hospital yesterday and they have told her, that unless its ball games, i can keep it in all the time, so that should make it easier for me. Mummy also told her about Imogen, bullying me. Sue took it very seriously, but mummy didn't go in to too much detail in front of me, because she didn't want to upset me. When we went to my class, i went and played and mummy spoke to Jules, my teacher. She told her about Imogen and Jules took it very seriously too, she said she would watch out for it and let others know too. Mummy had told me that if it happens again, i need to tell a teacher about it.
When mummy picked me up, Rachel told her that Jules had told her i had had a good day, I told mummy that i had told a teacher about anything, and Imogen had only tried taking it out once and when i told a teacher, she was given time out for it. Mummy was really proud of me and said well done for telling a teacher.

We walked in to aunty sams today with Kaamiel, i'm staying at theirs for the day because my school is closed for the day. I had a good day.
Mummy found out today that i have been bullied at school, by a girl called Imogen.
Before getting a bus, we went and bought a present for Tom from me, because its his birthday tomorrow. On the way home from aunty sams house, Mummy talked to me about it, asking what had happened. I told her that Imogen had followed me around at play time, taken my hearing aid out (i put it back in, instead of telling a teacher) and hitting and punching me, flicking my ear with my hearing aid in. Mummy gave me lots of cuddles and asked if i wanted her to tell my teachers, i said no, but mummy said that they would need to know, so they can keep an eye on Imogen and stop her doing it again. When we got home, i had dinner and then we wrapped his presents up, i kept saying, really loud, i'm wrapping this keyring for nana' then we went to the shop, on the way there, i kept saying things like don't tell Tom what we have for him, lets tell Tom we have forgotten his birthday (but loud enough for him to hear) that was funny, walking to the shop

When mummy picked me up from after school club, she had a surprise for me, Kaamiel was with her. She then told me that he was staying the night at our house. I was so excited, i showed everyone at after school club my cousin, i loved him coming with mummy. I helped push his pushchair home, i liked it. When we got home, i sat and played with Kaamiel while mummy done our dinner. After dinner, it was bath time, mummy ran the bath while i ate my dinner, because i was still eating, Kaamiel went in the bath. (he done a poo in the bath) mummy didn't tell me until i had got in, then i said 'ewwwwwwwwwwwww' i didn't look too impressed hehe.

When mummy picked me up today, Rachel told her that i didnt' have my hearing aid in again today, mummy was very angry, she said its not fair on me not to have it in when i need it.
After Tom went to work, we went down to the shed and mummy put the bike bell on my bike and put my seat and handle bars up to make it higher for me. 
When i went to bed, mummy wrote a letter of complaint.

At bedtime today, we looked at a reading book that mummy has. It has 2, 3 and 4 letter words in. I could read some of the 3 letter words!!!! Mummy was so proud of me. I said the sound of the letters and then said them altogether and said the word. Mummy sent Tom a text, because he was at work, he was really proud of me too :D

This morning i reminded mummy that it is my school fair today after school. Tom said he would come and meet us there, that made me very happy.
When mummy came to pick me up, there were people everywhere. Tom was with her too. Rachel told mummy that i had been a bit unsure when i arrived at after school club, because there were people everywhere, the playground was full. Rachel reminded me that i had something to give mummy, it was a necklace that Rachel had bought in to be sold, i had chosen one for mummy. It had her favourite colour, purple in. Then we went and looked around, i chose some cakes to buy. We went and got our bikes and when we got outside the school, mummy asked if i would like a burger, i said yes. So Tom looked after our bikes and we went back in to get burgers. It was so yummy. After we had eaten them, we looked up and it didn't look very nice, so Tom got a bus and we went on our bikes. We got home before him :) that was good. I gave mummy her necklace and said 'mummy you can keep that until you're dead'

At bedtime today, mummy and Tom read me my pirate story together, it was really fun. Tom done the pirate voices and mummy read the story and had to do the parrot voice, i really liked it, and mummy and Tom laughed lots too

This isn't for this day, just a general post. Mummy wanted to say how well i have been doing with my talking since my operation. I now say 's' sounds in most words and can say them in sentences, which i havne't been able to do before. So now, instead of saying 'i s-hat on the buh' i can say 'i sat on the bus' mummy and Tom are really proud of me!! :D

It was my first day of wearing my hearing aid for the full day at school today, i was looking forward to it. Mummy showed the teaching assistant how to put it in, because my teacher wasn't there.
When mummy picked me up from after school club, Rachel (my after school club teacher) told mummy that when i had gone over, i didn't have my hearing aid in and had been crying lots. I told mummy that i hadn't had it in since the morning play time, mummy wasn't happy. I was sad because they hadn't been able to find my special hard case for my hearing aid to go in. Mummy got my things together and then we went to see Sue, the headmistress, mummy was very angry because i had been sad and because i didn't have it in all day. We went in to Sue's office and mummy told her that she wasn't happy. Sue wasn't happy with the teachers either. She asked mummy to write a note that can go in the classroom, telling people when it is to come out and when its to go back in again.

Today when we got up, mummy and Tom reminded me that we are going to a music festival today, i was really excited. We went to a pub and had breakfast first, but i had some at home because i was hungry. Mummy packed a lunch for me to take with us. When mummy and Tom had eaten, we got in the car and went to the music festival, its called 'charlbury riverside festival' when we got there, we parked the car and then had to walk a little way until we got there. We had to go over a field because thats where it was. When we got there, we walked around, there were lots of stalls and i liked seeing what there was on each stall. There was a stage near where we went in, but we carried on going past that one. There was face painting, but because last time i had my face painted i got a rash, mummy said it wouldn't be a good idea. We found another stage and then sat down on the grass. I watched some bands playing and singing and it was good. When i was watching the music, i ate my lunch (i had to eat all of it if i wanted an ice-cream from the ice-cream van) then a man came over to us, he was called James, he's mummy's friend, and Toms. Mummy told me that his band would be playing soon. There was lots of grass that was just laying on the ground, i started throwing it at Tom and mummy, it was fun, Tom threw it back at me and then at mummy, it was lots of fun, having a grass fight. Then when we were all covered in grass, mummy told me it might be a good idea to stop now, so she found me a hole in the ground and i started filling that with grass instead. James' band came on, I liked watching his band, we went closer when his band came on. After that, we went and got ice-cream, it was yum yum. After that, we went back to the car
