Today when we got up, mummy reminded me that we were going to the hospital, for my 5 year cleft review. We got ready and left to get the bus.
When we got there, it was 8;45am, we had to wait in a waiting room, where i go when i see Lucy (my speech therapist). Then we were called into a room i haven't been in before. We were told that room was going to be our 'base' room. A lady called Jacqui took us over to a lady who was taking photos. I had to sit on a chair, it spun round. She took photo's of me, i smiled for them. I had to look up, down, straight, i had to open my mouth wide, look at mummy, look at the wall. Then i had a horrible thing in my mouth, that kept my cheeks open wide so she could see my teeth too. I wasn't so keen on that, mummy could tell from my face, but i didn't cry, just looked at the camera like the lady asked me to do. Mummy thought i looked like i wanted to cry then, but was impressed at how brave i was being. When we were finished, mummy spoke to the lady and the lady told her that she could have a disc of all of the photo's of my mouth (even when i had my hole!) so we had to find a cash point. On the way back to our 'base' we saw one so we told Jacqui we would be back in the minute. Because mummy needed change for the lady with the camera, i got to have a chocolate hehe. We went back to our 'base' room and i started colouring a picture in. Then we were called to another room, in the room that i see Lucy. I sat at the table and a lady called Helen was talking to me (Lucy is on holiday) and another lady called Cassy was trying to make a video camera work. It took them ages to fix it and i was starting to get bored, but didn't fidget, was really good. Then when it was time, i started talking in my loud voice, i had to count to 20, then i had to tell them all about my kittens, i told them about trapping my finger in the door the other day too. Then i had to sing twinkle twinkle little star to them. I kept going shy, looking at mummy, but i carried on. Helen showed me a book with silly sentences in and i had to repeat them after her. Things like the phone fell of the shelf, bob is a baby boy, Sam sat on the bus. These sentences sounded like 'the hone hell o' the helf, bob i a baby boy, ham hat on the buh. They got me to say lots and i had to repeat lots too, they were writing the whole time. Then their camera stopped working again, but they carried on anyway. Then i had to do lots of sounds, whilst Cassy held a mirror under my nose, mummy saw the mirror mist up quite alot (it shouldn't do, but does because i still have a hole in my palate) After we were finished there, we went back to our 'base' I carried on colouring my picture in, it is Thomas the tank engine. I had chance to colour for 10 minutes and then we were called by a man this time. He took me to another room that i have never seen before, he told mummy he is an orthodontist. In the room there was a big dentist chair and i was asked to sit down, i was shy and unsure, but mummy smiled at me and i sat down. He asked me if i was having a nice holiday, but i didn't reply, just looked nervous. He smiled and said look up, so i did, then he used a special mirror. He said lots of words and a lady wrote them all down. He was pleased with my teeth and said they looked good. He explained to mummy about my two top front ones, because mummy had told him that they are a little further back than the others, he said that is quite normal in children (not just cleft children) and may correct itself when i get my big ones through, or can be corrected with a brace when I'm older. I got a toothbrush, toothpaste, stickers and a certificate and then, he added my special mirror to my bag too :D I was very pleased. We went back to our 'base' again and i carried on colouring. As there were lots of other children waiting too, we had time to run over to the lady with the camera and give her the money for the disc. When we got there, she gave mummy a receipt and told her that she would get it in the post in a couple of weeks. We went back to our 'base' again. Then a lady came in and asked mummy for a questionnaire she had filled out so mummy gave it to her (she got it in the post ages ago) after a little while, the same lady came back and we had to go to a different room with her. She was a psychologist, the questionnaire mummy had to do was lots of questions asking how i am, if my cleft affects me at all and lots of things like that. I played while her and mummy talked a little bit, then she started asking me questions, if i have any friends at school, i was really quiet, said i didn't remember their names, put my fingers in my mouth alotENT so i could have my hearing test done. I have been there lots of times before so knew where we were going. When we got there, we went to the children's play area and i played for about a minute until we were called (it usually takes ages) we went into a special room with a man, it has two doors on the room and it goes all quiet when you close the doors. He asked me to sit down at the table and i did. Then he got lots of toys out and asked me what i would like to play with, one of the things was a 'zapper' for a game, i chose that one :D I had to wear special headphones and then i held the 'zapper' in my hand, he told me that every time i heard a sound, i had to 'zap' it. I liked that game. Then we played a 'circus hoop game' every time i heard a noise, i had to throw the hoop at the middle bit, to see if i could hit it. I nearly got it on, was very close to it and even managed to hit it once too, i liked that game too. Then the man asked if i was ticklish, i said yes. He told me that he had a special machine that would go in my ear and it would tickle inside my ear. I've had this done lots of times. It draws pictures of my sounds in my ears, he told me it would either do a road or a hill. (normal hearing would be a hill) He done it in each ear and then showed me that both ears have roads. I liked that game too. I sat and ate a roll when he went to write up the results quickly to explain to mummy and for us to take back to our 'base'. When he came back in, he had a picture to show mummy, where normal hearing is and where mine is. He said it looks like my glue ear is back and that my hearing is very low and i will struggle to hear if there is background noise (tv, traffic, talking etc) When they were talking, i ate my roll. I didn't listen to what they were saying, was too busy eating hehe. The man told mummy that i will need to come back and see Miss Lennox, i have been seeing her since i was very young, she is the lady i see when i have hearing tests, she tells mummy if i need grommets fitted, if its got better or worse. We went back to our 'base' and got our coats, it was time to go home. When we left the hospital, it was 11:50
When we got home, we went to the shop and mummy bought me a small bar of chocolate for being such a good girl at the hospital, I found Tom's favourite chocolate too and we paid. When we got home, i was so excited to show Tom my certificate and things i had been given. I ran straight into the room he was in and showed him, i took my toothbrush and toothpaste out and then ran in to mummy who was in the bathroom. Mummy helped me open it all and i cleaned my teeth, i like my new toothpaste and toothbrush.
Mummy went and had a cuddle with Tom and i went in to the living room to watch tv. Then mummy came through and said she was making lunch. I was sat in a big box and mummy asked me if i would like a 'box picnic' i smiled lots and said yes, then i ran in to the kitchen and said 'i know, we can have a picnic on the floor, you me and Tom' mummy told me to go and ask Tom. I did and he said yes. I was so excited i actually tidied up. Then i washed my hands and helped mummy to get the crisps ready. I put them all out on the blanket and then told Tom it was ready. He came through and got his, but had to wait for mummy because Tom and mummy had toasted sandwiches. I came back in to the kitchen and said 'come on, I'm waiting for you two' so mummy took her sandwich out (it was a bit soggy, but she didn't mind) We all sat down and started to eat. After a little while, Tom had to sit on the sofa (he has sore knees) and me and mummy stayed on the floor, mummy said she would be okay if she kept moving positions. Then we were both sat crossed legged. I told Tom that Zoe (an imaginary person i talk about) had eaten more than him, she had just 'eaten' a cheese biscuit, but spat it out because she didn't like it, so i ate it, he told me she hadn't, because she hadn't eaten hers. When she spat it out, i told mummy 'its just because she is imaginary' mummy laughed, she has told me this lots and i insist she's not. Then when Tom told me she hadn't eaten anything, i was getting a bit cross. At the end of our picnic, mummy was stuck because she has sore knees too, and a bad back. (they are old really hehe) i asked if she would like me to help her get up and she laughed and said no thank you. I carried on eating a bit more. I went for a wee and was really fast, mummy asked if i had finished and Tom said did you wash your hands, i didn't want to wash my hands and shouted and got grumpy with him. I did go and wash them in the end. When i came back in, mummy tried talking to me, i put my fingers in my ears and walked past her. Mummy told me that is very rude. I took them out and said 'but i just didn't want you to talk to me' Then i went into the kitchen, when i came back, i was like a different girl, i started helping to tidy up, took bowls in to the kitchen. I liked our picnic.
Mummy came into the living room and told me that we are going to see big Ella tomorrow and we still needed to wrap her present up, i went into their bedroom and got it from her and the wrapping paper. The paper fell off the tube so mummy picked it up and bopped Tom on the head, she done it a few times, then he done it back to her and then he started talking down it, i got grumpy again. (mummy thinks a tired me makes a grumpy me) I wrapped it up with mummy and i put loads of tape on it.

We all walked to the shop at the end of the road this morning, i went in my pyjamas, i like doing that :D Then when we came home. I wanted to make a tent from the box in the living room, but mummy explained that it wont stay up, showing me that it will just keep falling down. She then said we could make a chair instead, so we did. Mummy stuck all the sides together with cellotape and then got my duvet from my room to make it all snuggly for me. I got in and mummy put some blankets over me to keep me warm, i like my special chair that i made with mummy. Then mummy cooked her and Tom some scrambled egg (i had already had 2 pieces of toast and 2 weetabix for my breakfast)
I played some games on my camera in my special chair, putting the lid down on me too hehe.
After a bit of playing and watching tv with mummy and Tom, Tom went into the bedroom to play his game and i asked mummy if i could have my face painted (she has lots of special face paints) I chose to be a pink tiger, i sat really still for mummy and then went and showed Tom, he said it was good. When mummy was painting my face, i told her 'you are the best face painter ever'. I liked crawling around the living room growling at everything, i copied what boo does, pawing the throw on the sofa too. i really liked being a pink tiger :D

Mummy came into the living room and said 'do you want to go to town' i said 'noooooo' in a whingy voice, but then mummy added that she was going to buy me MacDonalds, i soon changed my mind hehe. We got ready (i was ready first, i never get ready first, i liked that) When we were all ready, we walked to the bus stop. The bus got there really quickly so we got on. I sat on the seat next to mummy and Tom, playing games on mummy's phone. When we got to town, we went to a few shops and then it was time to get my MacDonalds, yay :-) I ate it on the bus on the way home, Tom and mummy had to tell me so many times to sit down on my seat. We got off at the shop at the end of our road, because mummy needed Irn Bru and we got chocolate too.
At home mummy cooked dinner for her and Tom and i sat and watched some tv. I had an early night tonight as i was tired. My eyes have been better today and mummy didn't need to put the ointment in them.

When i got up this morning, my eyes weren't crusty, they weren't even gunky or red looking, mummy said my eyes are getting better, yay :)
We got ready and had to go out shopping :( boo. Mummy had to bribe me to go out as i wanted to stay in all day. She had a book that she was meant to give me for my birthday but forgot, she hid it from me and said when we come home i could have it, i soon started getting ready. When we left we walked to the bus stop with Tom as he was going to work. On the bus, i sat in front of Tom and mummy and played games on my, i mean mummy's phone. When we got near cowley centre (which is where we were going) mummy asked if i would like to go into town with Tom and then get a bus back this way, i said yes (mummy wanted to see Tom for a bit longer as he was working late last night and all day today) I was very excited, because that meant i could get on a big bus to go to cowley centre. When we got off the bus, we said bye to Tom and then went to wait at the bus stop. At cowley centre i had a pound to spend, so mummy took me to a pound shop and i bought two aeroplanes. Then we went to a shop and done food shopping......boring. At home, we had pizza and watched a film. I had a bath and made 'pancakes' in the bath. When mummy was drying my hair, she asked me to get my special spray that stops my hair being knotty, i asked why i had to get it and mummy told me it takes her a while to get up, i asked her why and she told me that its because she is getting old, which i didn't look very impressed with. I asked why she is getting old, and she told me that every one gets old. So i told her 'but i wont know what to play with when you get old'
At bedtime, i had my ointment in both eyes, but didn't need an eye patch on. I had my new book at bedtime, i liked it.

When i woke up, the eye that mummy uncovered last night wasn't crusty and there wasn't much gunk on my eye patch, so mummy said i could keep my eye patch off for the day, as long as i didn't rub it, or play with it. I didn't. I was really good all day. The sticky stuff that held my patch on (which i thought was cellotape) had left marks on my face like a plaster leaves. We went out to the shop in the rain, i wore my boots and splashed mummy. i told her that she couldnt' splash me though because i had my pyjamas on and didn't want them to get messy.
I didn't wear any eye patches to bed tonight :) but i did have to have the ointment in each one.

When i woke up, mummy took my eye patch off and it wasn't crusty. Mummy told me that because i had worn my eye patch, it stopped it getting crusty over night. She put my special ointment in it and then put a new patch on me. (i now think that sanitary towels are pirate eye patches, mummy is looking forward to me going into someones toilet seeing them in there, to see what i do or say hehe) We stayed in all day, Tom had to go to work til 3.
By the time i went to bed, my other eye had started looking a bit gunky, so mummy asked if she could put a patch on both of them, as she didn't want it to go crusty over night as that would hurt me. I laid on her and Toms bed and she cleaned them both and then put an eye patch over both of them. I thought it was funny, i tried walking and bumped into things, that made me laugh. Mummy helped me walk to my bed and she read me a story. (at 2am i woke up and asked for one of them to be taken off, mummy did take it off for me)

At 5.49 am i shouted to mummy saying 'is it time to get up now, i want to get up before you' mummy explained that it was still really early and i laid quietly til 6.30 then mummy let me get up.
When mummy picked me up from after school club today, i went up and gave her a cuddle (i always do) but today i looked a bit sad and my right eye was a bit gunky and i said it was sore. We went to the toilet (i had to show mummy where to go because it was upstairs, i liked showing her where to go in my school) when we walked to the bus stop, mummy phoned the doctors and asked for an appointment. We had one for 6.10pm. On the bus i played games on mummy's phone with mummy. When we got off the bus, Tom was waiting, i like it when Tom meets us. We walked to the shop quickly because i wanted a chocolate. Tom said my eye looks sore. On the way home, Tom had told mummy that there is a box at home, they asked me if i had ordered anything, i haven't, they asked me what i thought it could be. I didn't know. Mummy told me that it was something Tom had found on the internet for me, it was for my birthday and got here today. When we got home, we opened it and it was full of plastic bags. Mummy asked me if i had ordered carrier bags, i laughed and said no. Then some of the bags at the bottom had things in. I took each piece out at a time, mummy and Tom found something to do with each piece, a telescope, wheels (they weren't any of them) Then we started putting them together, i found some drum sticks :-D i knew what it was then. I was excited and because i was, i had forgotten about my eye. Tom had to go on the internet and find a picture of it so mummy could put it together (the instructions weren't that good) Then it was all done, i stood up and started drumming (its an electric drum kit) i really liked it, but then it was time to go to the doctors. We put my drum kit in my bedroom and then left. When we got to the bus stop, the bus just left :-( but mummy had a good idea for walking to the doctors. There are lots of lines on the pavements and mummy said that there are sharks and crocodiles in the other bits, so we walked along, jumping over the bits that were all 'water' and then having to run over the bigger bits, i liked walking to the doctors. It was lots of fun. At the doctors i had to run to the toilet as i was desperate for a wee. Then i got a drink, i like the drink machine they have there. The doctor called us quite soon. When we got in there, he looked at my eye, he asked me to cover it and see if i could see with my good eye, then he looked in each one with a special torch. He told mummy i have conjunctivitus, he gave her a prescription and told her if i will let him, to make me an eye patch with cotton wool pads. He gave us some special tape to hold it on. When we left, we went to the pharmacist and picked my special gel up for my eye and then left. When we had walked a little way, mummy remembered about the cotton pads, so we went back, they didn't have any. Then we went to another shop near by, they didn't either. When i was sleeping, i shouted out 'no, i don't want to' and was crying a little :-( mummy came in to see me, normally i shout at her and say noooooo but this time i was sort of awake and gave her a cuddle then settled down again.

On the bus on the way home today, me and mummy were talking about how old we were. Mummy told me that she is 30 and i said 'wow, you're older than my nanny' mummy laughed and said that she wasn't. Then when we got home, mummy told me what a good girl i had been, i looked at her and said 'it's just because i didn't want to be 4 anymore and i'm a big girl now' (that was at about 6.30pm) at bedtime (half an hour later) that ended because mummy had to brush my hair, so i screamed, shouted so was back to normal hehe.

MY BIRTHDAY :-) Saturday 12th February 2011
ITS MY BIRTHDAY!!!
When i woke up, mummy thinks i had forgotten its my birthday because i asked if i could go in the living room before her (thats what i like doing at the weekend) she told me to wait there a minute and then when she had been into the living room quickly, she told me to go to her and Tom's room, on the bed were my birthday presents! Tom and mummy said happy birthday to me. I sat on the bed and opened my presents, i had lots. I had some special drumsticks that when you bang in the area that the cymbols etc are, they make those sounds, mummy said because my room is quite small, they bought them instead of a drum kit. I had mr beans teddy, a rabbit that has its own clothes and birth certificate and passport. Lots of lego, a dream catcher, mummy told me that it will catch all my horrible dreams. I got a new watch, a hello kitty one, a jewelery box and a big hello kitty badge and a grufallo card. From Tom's family, i got a new skirt, a sticker book and a puzzle book. I was excited, i still wanted to be able to go in to the living room alone though. So when mummy was getting ready, i went in to see the kittens. When we were all dressed, we went to Voirreys quickly as she had a card for me. We saw her kittens (2 are Boo's sister and brother and the other 2 are Echo's sister and brother) Then it was time to go, because we had the cinema to go to. When we got there, we found some seats and sat down, i was really excited. I had my new rabbit with me, i have chosen to call her Annabel and i wore my new skirt from Tom's family. I found the film a bit boring, but still liked going to the cinema. When it was finished, we drove to pick John and Ray up, when we got there, Uncle Brian was there, to give me my presents and cards. He had a present from him and a present from Aunty Wendy. I liked getting more presents. When it was time to go, i sat in the middle and John and Ray sat either side of me. We got to the bowling and had to wait a little while for an alley to be free, we didn't have to wait too long though. John gave me a card, with more money in! I have £45 now. Then the alley was ready for us, i had the sides up for my go, but i didn't use the ramp, thats the first time i haven't used the ramp, its because i'm a big girl now! It was quite hard rolling the ball fast, i got better the more goes i had. Mummy won the bowling, she beat Tom hehe. I really like going bowling with Mummy, Tom, Ray and John. I chose who's turn it was to help me each time too. After bowling, we dropped John and Ray off at the bus stop and then went to Nana's house. We had the cake that Nicky made me, when the candles were in and they were lit, i blew them out, but they kept lighting up again and i kept blowing them out, they were magic. We had some cake each, it was yum, I had 3 chocolate buttons on my piece. I got some zoobles at Nana's from her, Chris and Alex, i liked them, i played with them (so did mummy hehe) When it was time to go, we gave Nana a lift, we had to go back to Nana's house too as she forgot her tobacco. When we got to the club, me and Mummy went inside quickly to see Aunty Brenda. She had a present for me and so did Ian and Nicky. I got a cash machine that is a piggy bank, i liked that, it has a card with it. From Ian and Nicky, i got some Minnie Mouse pyjamas, i liked them too. We then went to the toy shop, so i could spend my money. I kept saying come on, its going to close, then i would jump up and down, trying to find something to buy because i didn't want the shop to shut. I told mummy and Tom that i knew what i wanted, but then couldn't remember. Finally i found something, it was playmobil, i liked the one with all the people in. We bought it and then went to MacDonalds for some food. I stayed in the car with Tom and mummy went and bought us some food. I ate my happy meal in the car, i liked doing that. At home, it was 8pm already, so time for my bedtime. We were all really tired from such a busy day. I have had a really good birthday, my best one ever!!!!!
When i woke up, mummy thinks i had forgotten its my birthday because i asked if i could go in the living room before her (thats what i like doing at the weekend) she told me to wait there a minute and then when she had been into the living room quickly, she told me to go to her and Tom's room, on the bed were my birthday presents! Tom and mummy said happy birthday to me. I sat on the bed and opened my presents, i had lots. I had some special drumsticks that when you bang in the area that the cymbols etc are, they make those sounds, mummy said because my room is quite small, they bought them instead of a drum kit. I had mr beans teddy, a rabbit that has its own clothes and birth certificate and passport. Lots of lego, a dream catcher, mummy told me that it will catch all my horrible dreams. I got a new watch, a hello kitty one, a jewelery box and a big hello kitty badge and a grufallo card. From Tom's family, i got a new skirt, a sticker book and a puzzle book. I was excited, i still wanted to be able to go in to the living room alone though. So when mummy was getting ready, i went in to see the kittens. When we were all dressed, we went to Voirreys quickly as she had a card for me. We saw her kittens (2 are Boo's sister and brother and the other 2 are Echo's sister and brother) Then it was time to go, because we had the cinema to go to. When we got there, we found some seats and sat down, i was really excited. I had my new rabbit with me, i have chosen to call her Annabel and i wore my new skirt from Tom's family. I found the film a bit boring, but still liked going to the cinema. When it was finished, we drove to pick John and Ray up, when we got there, Uncle Brian was there, to give me my presents and cards. He had a present from him and a present from Aunty Wendy. I liked getting more presents. When it was time to go, i sat in the middle and John and Ray sat either side of me. We got to the bowling and had to wait a little while for an alley to be free, we didn't have to wait too long though. John gave me a card, with more money in! I have £45 now. Then the alley was ready for us, i had the sides up for my go, but i didn't use the ramp, thats the first time i haven't used the ramp, its because i'm a big girl now! It was quite hard rolling the ball fast, i got better the more goes i had. Mummy won the bowling, she beat Tom hehe. I really like going bowling with Mummy, Tom, Ray and John. I chose who's turn it was to help me each time too. After bowling, we dropped John and Ray off at the bus stop and then went to Nana's house. We had the cake that Nicky made me, when the candles were in and they were lit, i blew them out, but they kept lighting up again and i kept blowing them out, they were magic. We had some cake each, it was yum, I had 3 chocolate buttons on my piece. I got some zoobles at Nana's from her, Chris and Alex, i liked them, i played with them (so did mummy hehe) When it was time to go, we gave Nana a lift, we had to go back to Nana's house too as she forgot her tobacco. Tom came on the bus with us this morning, as he's going to see his family today. When me and mummy got off the bus, we went to tesco and bought some lunch for me, we then got to mummy's work and remembered that we were meant to buy a birthday cake for me to take to school, so we had to go all the way back to tesco again. We found chocolate cake, yummy and then went back to mummy's work. Mummy wrote a note on it because i want to take some to after school club too.
When mummy picked me up, Tom was with her too :-) I was in the middle of eating my second piece of chocolate cake of the day hehe and when i got my coat on, Rachel gave me a 3rd piece. We went and got on a big bus as we had to go to Nana's house to get the car. When we got there, Nana wasn't there as she had taken Alex to work, but Chris was there. We waited for Nana and then stayed a little while when Nana got there. Then we left to go to Tom's family. It was a long way and i talked all the way there, lots, sometimes loud and sometimes quiet and sometimes it didn't make any sense what so ever. When we got there I liked stroking all the cats, they are nice. Julie (Tom's mummy) asked if we would like to see the cake that Nicky had made, we went into the kitchen and saw it, it says 'happy birthday harriet' on, i liked it. Then i pulled mummy back into the living room, as i wanted to see the game that Ross and Nicky were playing. Just before we left, we went for a wee, Wilbur was asleep in the bath, i told mummy he looked cute. Everyone said happy birthday to me for tomorrow. Julie helped us carry the bags out to the car, as there were lots. On the way home, Tom had some music for us to listen to, i was a lot quieter on the way home (it was after my bedtime) i fell asleep on the way home. When we got to mummy's work, she heated up my tomato soup and put it in my flask. Mummy made sure it was hot as she didn't know if the flask was very good or not. At lunch time my soup was too hot, so i ate my bread and butter (so my flask does work, yay) I ate it at after school club instead, it was cold by then, but i told rachel (my after school club teacher) that i liked it cold.
When mummy picked me up, she told me Tom was outside, I got all excited, I haven't seen Tom since Sunday because he's been working in the evenings this week :( i have been sad every night when mummy told me he wasn't home. I got all excited and ran out to find him, i ran up to him and sort of gave him a cuddle, leaning into him. We walked to the bus stop and mummy told me that we were going to make cookies when we got home, that is exciting. I want to make one bigger than my mouth! We waited til the bus came and then got on, we had to wait for a seat to be free so we could all sit together. Then i played games on mummy's phone while her and Tom talked on the way home. When we got home, i said hello to the kittens then washed my hands ready to cook. I wanted to help measure the stuff, but the scales mummy bought are rubbish. So mummy done all that and i added it into the bowl to mix. I stirred then mummy had a turn and then i had a turn. When it was time to put the chocolate chips in, i wanted to taste them, just to make sure they were okay, i had to have a few to make sure they were okay. Then i added them into the bowl. We put the mixture on to baking trays and mummy put them in the oven. I asked if i could lick the spoon and she said yes. I stood there and licked and licked some more and then had to sit down because my legs were getting tired, but i couldn't stop eating, i told mummy 'i just can't stop eating, my hand wont stop' i carried on til i had none left. I then went into the living room and waited til mummy called me to say the cookies were ready. I was really excited because there was a really big one and i wanted to eat it all up. Mummy wouldn't let me eat it all though, because it was really big. I ate a bit of that one and then another one too (just a small one)

I wasn't at after school club for long today, mummy picked me up early. We got a big bus and had to go and see a lady because mummy had a meeting. I sat and played games on mummy's phone (i like doing that...mummy has downloaded lots and lots of games on there for me hehe)
As we finished in there quite early, it was a nice afternoon so mummy phoned Nana as she only lives around the corner from where we were. Nana was in so we walked to see her. When we got there, as soon as we walked in, i said 'i'm hungry' for some reason, i always get hungry at Nana's, guaranteed.
We stayed there for quite a long time, i liked going to Nana's after school. I had an orange, followed by a drink of milk (for some reason, mummy, chris and Nana thought that was a bit yuk, having an orange followed by milk) We ended up having dinner there too, it was sausage casserole. Mummy tasted hers and it was a bit spicy, she didn't think i would like it, i tried some sausage and then rubbed my tummy and carried on eating it. Mummy called me a little monkey because if she cooked that sort of thing at home, i wouldn't eat it. Mummy asked if i would eat it at home, i grinned and said no. (mummy is still going to try though and if i say i don't like it, shes going to tell me that Nana cooked it to see if that makes any difference) When it was time to go, we got our coats on and then Nana told us that she would give us a lift home, which was good as it was cold outside.

When mummy picked me up from school today, she told me that we were going to make burgers for dinner, i smiled lots. We went to tesco and found some things to make it, we needed mince and then mummy also said if we buy some sausage meat, we can make sausage rolls tomorrow, so we got some pastry too. I was really excited. When we got home, i said hello to the kittens really quickly and then washed my hands with mummy. I was allowed to put the mince into a bowl, then mumm got an egg yolk and put that in the mince, we used our hands to kneed it and to squash it. When we had done this for a while, mummy gave me a piece so that i could make my burger, i made three burgers, all small ones (because that means they are cute apparently) Then we put them under the grill and cooked them. I washed my hands and went into the living room to see the kittens. Mummy called me when they were cooked and i got all excited again, because i wanted to try them. I had a bite of my burger, mummy didn't think i liked them, from the look on my face, but i said yes i did. I kept on eating, but only the bread roll. Mummy asked me if i liked the burger, i tried a bit more and then pulled a face and said i didn't like it, so spat it out. I ate some more bread though.

When mummy picked me up from Nanny's we got on the big bus, the seat at the front was free, i like that seat because me and mummy can sit together. I told mummy about what i had done with Nanny, kept telling her that i couldn't remember though. I told her that i had seen Aunty Wendy, but not Daddy.
When we got off the bus, we were in Headington. We went into a shop to get some food and i put my baby in the trolley. We bought some ham for my lunch for school and some yoghurts. Then we went to the bus stop. We had to quickly go into another shop to get some special drinks for Tom (mountain dew) and then we waited at the bus stop. I tripped and nearly fell over and started crying, mummy can tell that i'm tired. At the bus stop, mummy told me that if i wanted to, i could have a present today. I smiled lots and said yes, but i had to wait to get on the bus first. When we got on the bus, i started touching mummy's coat pockets to find my present, she told me to close my eyes so i did. Then she got my present out of the bag and gave it to me, it was a book. I liked it, it was about owls. Mummy read the story to me on the bus. It was about an owl who was afraid of the dark.
When we got home, mummy started cooking dinner and i cuddled the kittens. When dinner was ready, we sat at my little pink table together, we ate lots and lots of yorkshire pudding, we both love that. After dinner, we sat on the sofa and watched a film that was on the tv and after that, mummy made me some cake and custard. I was very tired so mummy got me ready for bed by 6.30, i was crying lots just from being so tired.
I had my new book for a story in bed, i like my new story.

When i woke up, mummy reminded me i'm going to nanny's house today. I told mummy i wanted to get up before her and Tom, so she had to go back to bed, because i like to go in the living room to be with the kittens by myself (mummy thinks because if she comes in too, the kittens go to her instead and i don't like that) when mummy got up and dressed, she told me that Nana was taking us to nanny's. When we were all ready, Nana was there. Tom sat in the front and me and mummy sat in the back.
I went to MacDonalds with Nanny and we met Aunty Wendy and Seamus there. I spilt milk down me there, ooops.
Mummy got a letter through the post today about my 5 year check up for my cleft palate. It says we have to go to the hospital on 24th February and it will take a minimum of 3 hours. I have to have an xray, photos taken, dental records taken, a speech video and a hearing test. Mummy had to fill a questionaire out about how i am and how it effects me if at all. Mummy wrote about the fact that i don't like having to try and say my letter sounds like 's' and 'f' because it takes alot of effort for me to do it. In the letter it says that i will need to have a check up like this when i'm 10, 15 and 20!!!!

Mummy wrote about the fact that i don't like having to try and say my letter sounds like 's' and 'f' because it takes alot of effort for me to do it. When mummy picked me up from after school club today i told her that my ear was hurting. When we got to the bus stop, i was still saying it hurt. Mummy phoned the doctor and made me an appointment. On the bus, my ear seemed to stop hurting, because i was playing a game on mummy's phone, as soon as mummy needed her phone back, my ear suddenly started hurting???? Mummy asked me if my ear is really hurting, i said yes. When we got home, Tom was home, i got excited when mummy told me he was home, i always like coming home when he's home too :-)
We had a little time at home to relax before it was time to go and get the bus, my ear started hurting once we got outside. On the way to the doctors i was moaning it was hurting, when we got to the doctors, i was a little more quiet than normal. I ate my sandwiches mummy had made me for a packed lunch to take with us. When the doctor finally called my name, we went into see her. She looked in my ear, checked my throat and my temperature. She said i have a pink ear inside and that its the start of an ear infection. She gave mummy a prescription for some medicine but only told her to give it to me if i get a temperature too. When we got home, i had some nurofen medicine and went to bed

After school we came home and i watched some tv while mummy done some dinner. After dinner, i thought it was really funny to back up towards mummy, with my bum facing her and and made a raspberry sound with my mouth followed by the words 'i have purping power' mummy laughed lots.
