Sunday 28th November 2010

When we got up today, mummy told me that we are going for dinner. I was excited, i told mummy on Friday that i would like to go for dinner this weekend, cos Tom isn't working today and he normally does on a Sunday. We wrapped up very warm, cos it is frosty and cold. I didn't have my gloves, cos i don't know where they are again, but when we were in headington, Tom said lets go to Peacocks to have a look for some. Mummy found some pink ones and we went to buy them, but then Tom saw some pirate ones, i wanted them ones instead. Tom gave me a penny to buy them. I liked my new gloves and didn't want to take them off. When we got to the pub, i knew what i wanted straight away, mummy and Tom took ages to choose. There was a long queue that me and mummy waited in. I ate loads, but then got tired too. After dinner, we went in to town to have a look round, we found some boots for me, which mummy is going to get tomorrow when she gets paid. I had to walk up some stairs that you can see between, i didn't like it. On the way down, mummy had to be brave (she is very scared of heights) and hold my hand and pretend its not scary

When i got up, i was excited about decorating my bag. Mummy told me to have some breakfast first, so i ate it as fast as i could. Then mummy gave me my bag and the colouring pens and stickers. I sat in the living room for ages, decorating it and colouring it. I was really careful and stayed in the lines. I really like my bag. When i had finished, mummy told me that i could take it out with me as we had to go to cowley centre. I was starting to get a bit grumpy by now, cos i was tired. At cowley centre, we walked round some shops, i carried my bag with me, i took my tiger bottle out that Tom bought me yesterday. We bought some food and then went home. At home, Tom went to play on his game for a little while and i played in the living room til dinner was ready. Me and mummy shared a table, i liked that. I had mash potato and pie, i ate quite a lot. Tom had to go to work :-(

When i got home today, Tom was there already. He had bought me a water bottle today when he was out with his family, it is pink with a tigers head. Inside there is a plastic bit that he told me i can put in the bottle to keep my water cold. I love it, was really excited to use it. Then he gave me a brown envelope and inside was some presents from Toms mum. There was a material bag that i can draw on and there are some stickers for me to stick on it too. Mummy told me that i can decorate it tomorrow morning. The other thing was some christmas decorations for me to decorate. Mummy told me that when my school holidays start, i can decorate them then, to hang on the christmas tree.

Saturday 20th November 2010

Considering i didn't get home and in bed til almost 9pm last night, i was still awake at 7am. I got up, i told mummy i didn't want her getting up too, i like it when she doesn't, cos it means i get to watch tv and snuggle the kittens. I called her when i wanted some breakfast and she came in and got me some breakfast. I had boulders (i like boulders mmmmmm) I shut the kittens in the kitchen whilst i was eating, so they didnt' try and drink my milk. A little while later, i went in to see mummy and Tom, mummy told me that we are going to cowley centre, i told her to stay in bed, cos i wanted to stay in. Mummy asked me why she had to stay in bed, i told her 'cos if you stay in bed, it means we have to stay in' mummy laughed. Then i went to play again. I went back to mummy and she said if we go to cowley centre, i can spend my penny's, i liked this. I ran to the living room to count my money.
We got a bus to cowley centre, i skipped and ran happily all the way. Mummy told Tom that she was surprised that i was so happy, as i hadn't had as much sleep as normal. He said the whinging will probably start later, mummy laughed and said oh it will. At cowley centre, just 10 minutes after Tom had said that, i started whinging. I was hungry. We went in to a shop so that i could spend my money, i chose a book, two teddy's and a bag of 'crap' is what mummy called it (it was a bag of plastic toys, goggly glasses- mummy did like these though, and just lots of things that no one else would have bought) I was very pleased with my new things. Mummy bought us all a sausage roll, then i was whinging about being thirsty. We ate our sausage rolls, then i chose a shop to go and buy a drink. Then when we were in there, i realised that they don't have a fridge, so started whinging again, cos i wanted a cold drink. Tom disappeared. We paid for the shopping, i had a drink from the shelf. When we got outside, Tom arrived just as we walked out, he had gone and bought me a cold bottle of water, i smiled. I drank it really fast. We then went to look for hair dye for mummy. We saw purple and blue, mummy got the blue one. We all got a chocolate in that shop too.
Then we went to look for food for dinner. We got a trolley, just so mummy could put the shopping in the trolley. We walked round for ages, then Tom came in (he had gone to another shop quickly) we chose sausages then, i wanted pork pies too. After we left there, we walked to the bus stop. I crouched down, mummy kicked me (gently, to knock me over) and i fell backwards, i laughed and told her to do it again. I done that about 6 times, it was funny. Then the last time, i just laid on my back, then decided it would be funny to lift my legs up and pretend to fart at Tom and mummy. This made me laugh quite alot.
At home, whilst mummy cooked dinner, i sat and played with my new toys for ages. Although i found that if i put the metal soldiers in a small beaker, with a lid, they made a good noise when i shook it. Tom loved it - not haha.
For dinner i had sausage, pork pie, mash potato, corn on the cob and brocoli. I take ages to eat, too busy talking. I'm not allowed the tv on anymore, cos all i do is watch that and don't eat. Now with the tv off, all i do is talk talk talk talk talk. It took me nearly an hour to eat, and i didn't even eat it all.
At bedtime, i was being cheeky, not listening to mummy. When i finally did, she came in and read me a story. I was asleep quite quickly after she finished reading it.

Friday 19th November 2010

When i woke up this morning, mummy told me that it was the day where i was going to be spotty at school. I got dressed, very fast, with my spotty top on, i was excited. Then mummy found a picture of someone on the internet that had their face painted like pudsey. Mummy painted my face and i sat really still. I had pink, orange, blue, green, yellow and red spots on the bandana that mummy painted on me. Then Tom got up and we went to the bus stop, all together. On the bus, i kept growling at mummy and Tom, thinking i was a fierce bear. Mark was driving the bus, he liked my face too. At mummy's work, she finished my hat for me, stapling my bandana on to it, to make it spotty. I put it all on together and mummy took a picture. At school. there were lots of people who had their faces painted and were wearing lots of spotty clothes, i gave my teacher a penny for dressing up.
When mummy picked me up, my face paint was still on, just about. As we left the school gate, mummy asked me if i would like to go and see Lily and Holly, i was excited and said yes. We went to tesco and mummy bought some wine and then we got on the bus, the big one. We had to get off and then walk. Mummy had to go in to the solicitors quickly, i played while she talked. Then we went to the petrol station and got some ketchup. We walked along a little stream to get to their house. When we got there, i was really shy at first. We had dinner, it was chicken dippers, chips, garlic bread, cucumber, tomatoes and yellow peppers. I tried everything, but only liked the garlic bread. Then Holly started playing peek-a-boo with me under the table and i started enjoying myself then, i went upstairs with Holly and Lily and i had a good time then, we were jumping on their mummy's bed and i liked doing that. When their daddy got home, it was 8pm and they were going to be going to bed, so me and mummy left to go home, cos i was getting tired too. We walked home, it wasn't too far. At home, i was asleep within about 5 minutes.

When mummy picked me up from school today, i was very tired, but we had to find spotty things, cos tomorrow at school i have to be spotty for children in need. We went to tesco, i really wanted some maltesers, i picked them up and mummy said no, i cried, then mummy walked away and said she was going, so i had to put them back. We went to a shop called boots then, cos tesco didn't have any spotty things. In boots i found a spotty bracelet and a spotty bandana. Then we left there and all the way to the next shop, i kept saying 'chocolate, chocolate, chocolate.......' we went in and there wasn't anything spotty, but i did get a bar of chocolate. On the bus, i ate it and i was soooooo tired that i fell asleep. I slept nearly all the way home and then mummy had to wake me up. I told her i couldnt' walk and i wanted her to carry me, she wouldnt' carry me off the bus, i stood still and she had to nearly drag me off the bus, cos she had 3 bags of mine and her own. I then held on to the chairs and she had to prise my fingers off so she could make me walk, sort of, off of the bus. When we got off, i was crying. She stood me down, spoke to me and i calmed down. Then she picked all my bags and her bag up and then me up too, i was heavy. We started walking and mummy said she couldn't see, i thought that was funny, cos mummy isn't tall enough to see over my head. Then we saw Tom coming towards us. I was still being a tired grumpy little girl then, but then mummy asked me if i wanted to walk on the wall and all of a sudden, i was awake. I walked on the wall and i was fine, but then at the end, i wanted to be carried again, so mummy said 'oh look, is that drain wobbly' so i ran off to see, then i jumped on all of them all the way home. Which is strange cos i was so tired a few minutes before.
At home, mummy found my Pudsey bear picture i need to colour in for school and then went to look for a headband for me to put some ears on. She came back with a white t-shirt, but no headband. I was allowed to draw spots on it, that was fun, i done dots at first, but Tom said it needed to be spots, so i drew spots, with mummy helping me to hold the t-shirt straight, cos it kept moving. I drew loads of them, then we coloured them in, mummy helped me. Mummy said that instead of my head band, i could use the gold cowboy hat that aunty Wendy bought me and put the spotty bandana on that instead, mummy showed me how, i liked that. I drew some ears and cut them out all by myself. I done red ones first, but then mummy showed me a picture of pudsey, he is yellow.
After we had finished, i had 3 cookies and then 2 yoghurts. Mummy and Tom kept laughing and i kept asking why they were laughing, mummy was tickling Tom and he was laughing lots, mummy ended up on the floor. Then i came over and tried licking Tom, with my yoghurt face, it was funny, he told me to lick mummy too, which i did. Then i licked Tom again, i liked that. Mummy told me it was bedtime, so we went to her bedroom and i chose some books (out of the ones that Tom bought yesterday) Then i went back in to the living room to say thank you to him, but i licked him, again and again. I laughed. He kept saying 'eurgh' which made me do it more. Then it was time for bed, i raced mummy to bed and i won, yes.
Mummy read me two books that Tom had bought for me, a spot one and one called Fred. I liked them. I read the others by myself. When mummy got out of the shower, i called her, 2 of the books Tom had got for me had gone down the side of my bed, mummy asked how and i told her they just did. So she had to pull my bed out and guess what she found, 3 of her books too, ooops.

Tuesday 16th November 2010

Well today on the way home from school, i kept telling mummy that i was hungry. Mummy told me that she didn't have anything for me, but i told her to look in her bag. Mummy found a Mars Bar, she bit the chocolate off of it, cos mummy doesn't like me having caramel. Then gave me the bottom bit, i said i liked it, so she got the other bit of mars bar and took the top off again. I ate both pieces and was quite happy to eat it, saying it was nice. Then, when i had finished, i said 'i need a drink, that chocolate is on my tongue' mummy got my drink out of my lunch box and gave it to me, i gulped down all of my water. I was feeling sick, i scraped my tongue, trying to get the chocolate off of my tongue. After i drank all of the water, i felt a bit better. We got off the bus not long after that. Whedn we got home, i ran to the kitchen and said 'i need a drink, that chocoate is still there' (mummy says it looked like i was going to be sick) i was crying lots, mummy went to give me more water, but then said have a cake instead, it will change the taste in your mouth. I ate the cake, and it did help. When i had calmed down, mummy asked me why i had said i liked it and eaten it all up, i said 'i don't know'

Sunday 14th November 2010

Today mummy reminded me that we are going to jambinos' to see ella and elliot. I was really excited, first we dropped tom off in town cos he had to work. Then we went to tesco to buy ella a present, cos we didn't see her for her birthday. I chose a princess jewellery box and some cute little puppies for her. I wrote my own name on the card and then surprised mummy by copying her name and ella's name, without dots, mummy was really really impressed with me and very proud!! When we were ready, we left nana's and walked to jambinos. We got there first and found a seat, then they got there, i ran off to play with ella, i was a bit shy at first, but then was my normal self, running and laughing. I had lots of fun. At the ball pit, there was a boy in there, he was throwing balls at me, in my face, i looked sad. Mummy came over and said to the boy 'stop that now, you do not throw balls at other children, if i see you do it again, i will go and get your mummy' he nodded, then his mummy  came over, she got cross with him and took him away. After we played for ages, i got hungry and ella had go to so mummy bought me a sandwich and we left. We got a lift in there car. We went to cowley centre and we bought pizza, which i said yes to. When we got home, mummy cooked it and we sat snuggled under the blanket, then i said 'i dont' like pizza' so i chose to have cereal. I had a bath and mummy used her special comb in my hair, that chased my knots away, so when i got out, there were no knots, i like that comb. Mummy read me the gruffalo story at bed time, tom bought it for her yesterday (mummy loves children books and has lost her copy of it)

Today when we got up, mummy told me that we were going to Nana's to get her car and then going out for the day, i moaned, saying i wanted to get a bus, mummy was surprised cos getting the bus means walking lots, something i hate doing. We got the bus, Joe was driving!!! That was good. I sat at the front, and mummy and Tom sat a few seats back. On the way, i kept turning round to talk to mummy and Tom. I asked mummy 'did you never know you can turn your head and keep your legs still' Then i told mummy to try it, she didn't want to she said. I kept talking to mummy and Tom all the way there. Then we got off and walked round some shops, i saw Santa's grotto in cowley centre, i showed mummy that there was two doors. After we had finished here, we went and got the bus to Nana's house. When we got there, straight away i said i was hungry, i'm always hungry when we go to Nana's house. Then it was time to go, we got in the car and drove to a pub, where we were going to have dinner. I chose beefburger, mash potato and corn on the cob. I ate quite a bit of it, but did leave some, so i didn't get any pudding. I liked being able to go to the toilet by myself, cos we were sat quite near it. But tom and mummy knew i hadn't washed my hands, so i had to go back in again. When we left there, we went to a shop to get me some water proof trousers and new wellies, they didn't have any. But i did get a ear warmer. It goes under my hats and keeps my ears warm, i chose blue, which surprised mummy cos there was pink and purple. After that, we went back to cowley centre and i was allowed to have some pennies to spend. I bought lots of books, i like books. Then we went in to another shop and i got a reindeer teddy too.

On the way home on the bus today, there was a man with an eye patch on, i told mummy 'look, there is a real pirate' then i looked some more, then told mummy 'he doesn't have a parrot, thats a bit silly isn't it' i was very excited to tell tom when we got home.

Monday 1st November 2010

When i woke up today mummy reminded me that we are going to take my trolley to school, that was really exciting. We got ready (i was really good at getting ready, didn't moan once) and then mummy carried my trolley all the way down the stairs (its still in my room cos the council need to fix the shed after someone tried breaking into it, twice) then we were off, mummy got hot quite quick, so she put her coat behind me, so it was like a pillow and i had a big coat on, i liked going to school this way. It took mummy 40 minutes to walk, we went the same way that we did when i was on my bike. I even laid down and tried going to sleep in it.

I woke up all excited today, mummy told me yesterday that we can go to the park and i can practice on my new bike (no stabilisers) When tom went to work, we went on the bus to cowley centre to get some shopping, i didn't mind doing this cos i knew we were going to the park. When we got home, mummy cooked a yummy roast dinner, i don't like chicken, so just ate vegetables and pudding (yorkshire-but i call it pudding) i ate all my dinner (mainly cos mummy said i had to if i wanted to go to the park. We watched Racing Stripes too, it was funny, a zebra that thought he was a horse, i liked that.

Then we were ready to go, i started jumping and saying woohoo. I bought my bike in (it's still in my bedroom) and then got my cycle helmet on ready, mummy got my coat and her new camera and we were ready. Mummy had to carry the bike down the stairs as there are lots of them. When we got outside, i pushed my bike, i called it harry and said it was a boy, then changed my mind and wanted it to be a girl. On the way to the park, i kept laughing telling mummy that the peddles kept hitting my leg, it done it lots of times and mummy asked if i was sure i wanted to walk all the way to the park, i was sure. We carried on walking, the peddles kept hitting me, then i could see the park, we were nearly there. Mummy took a picture of me pushing my bike and then we were there :) when we got in the park, mummy held my bike still and let me climb on it, she held it while i put my feet on the peddles and then told me to peddle and steer, she held on to me as i moved. I kept going round in circles and then fell off, i got back on and done it again, still going in circles. Mummy told me to stop watching the people and to look ahead, i told her 'but they have a dog, look its so cute' so mummy had to tell me to look ahead otherwise i would keep going round in circles.  We laughed lots cos i kept going in circles, or i fell off or i just stopped peddling, it was a good job mummy never let me go. She did let me go for a few seconds twice and i got cross with her, but was also pleased that i had done it for a little time by myself. Mummy asked if i would like a break and go to the park to play, i did, cos it was really tiring all that cycling. I played on the swings and slide, and went up a rope ladder, got to the top and said 'mummy, i need your help, i can't get down, my thumb is scared' mummy laughed and said 'you're thumb?' i laughed and said 'silly me, i'm scared' so mummy helped me down. Then we noticed that it had got quite dark (it was 6pm) we decided to go home and try and ride my bike another day. On the way home, i was scared, i kept saying 'stay near me' (mummy was inches away from me anyway) it was really dark, but the street lights were on, so it wasn't too bad. When mummy asked me why i was scared, i said 'the cars are monsters, the motorbikes are ghosts and bikes are just bikes' mummy laughed at me and i laughed too. We got home and it was nice and warm at home, even though our heating isn't working still. I had milk and biscuits and then it was my bed time and i was very tired. Mummy read me a story and i fell asleep within 5 minutes of her finishing it for me.

Tuesday 19th October 2010

I went to school, just for a little while this morning and then mummy had to pick me up cos i had a hearing test at the hospital. We had to walk to the bus stop, which i only moaned at a little bit and then the bus didn't take very long to get there. When we got off of the bus, we rushed in to the hospital cos it was cold and we went up the lift. In the ENT bit in the hospital i went and played and mummy told the lady behind the desk that we were there. I like playing at the hospital (i go there quite a bit) a man came out and said my name, i heard him and we followed him down a corridor. We went in to a special room, when you shut the doors, it goes all quiet. Mummy sat very quietly and the man showed me some toys and i got to choose which ones i wanted to play with.  I chose the animals and the hoops. The man told me that i was going to hear a sound and when i did, i had to put a hoop on the stick. I listened and when i heard it, i put it straight on, he was very pleased with me. Then i had to wear special head phones, so only i can hear the sounds. I listened really carefully and i put a hoop on every time i heard a sound, the man kept saying well done harriet, every time i heard it. Then when we had done all the hoops, we chose to have all of the orange animals, i helped the man sort them out and then i had to listen again. Every time i heard a sound i had to make an animal jump in to the box. I heard all of the sounds and he said i had done really well. After i had put all of the animals in the box, the man went to get a special machine that he put in my ears, he pressed a button and said it would tickle a little bit, then we had a look and the machine drew a picture, i had a mountain for each ear. Then the man told us that we could go back to the waiting room and wait for my name to be called again. I skipped back to the waiting room and started playing in the play house, i made a friend with a little girl and we played until i heard my name again, we had to go and see a lady called miss lennox and lucy, my speech therapist was there too. Miss Lennox wanted to look in my ears, she put a special thing in my ear and had a look to see if i had glue ear, she saw that i had scars on my ears, from when i had grommets put in when i was 1. She told mummy that my ears were really good and that my hearing was very good too, that i wouldn't need to go back to see her for another year, which is the longest i haven't had to have a hearing test for  :-D although i do have to go back when i am 5 for an audit, which includes a hearing test.

I got a cake and a roll to eat on the bus and we went back to school, i told my teacher all about my hospital appointment.

Mummy came to get me this morning from aunty sams, i was still eating my toast and in my pyjamas (it was 11am) when i finised my toast we went to get a bus to cowley centre cos mummy said we were going to buy me some new trainers. (my trainers are falling apart and i've only had them for a couple of months) i wanted to get on a big bus, but a small one came. I did get on it, but i wasn't happy about it. When we got there, a lady measured my feet, i am a 11 and half. We looked for trainers, i saw some nice ones, that were all sparkly, mummy said no cos i need the rubber bit at the front, cos i crawl around the floor. We found some that we both liked and they had the rubber bit i need. Mummy put them on my feet and pointed to the mirror at the end. It was huge! i stood in front of it, spun around, then bent one leg, turned around again, looked from behind me, then looked from the front, then i walked away and back again, mummy called me a poser. I liked them shoes and wore them outside. We then went to look for some new clothes for me, i kept pointing to clothes that weren't very nice, saying i like them, then i laughed, mummy called me cheeky. We found some clothes, some trousers and tops. Then we saw some shoes, i found some with skulls and cross bones on, i tried them on and they fit me. We went to the fitting room and i got really excited, i have never tried clothes on in a shop before, i couldn't wait to take my clothes off. I stood and looked in the mirror and then chose a top to try on, when i had it on, i posed in the mirror, turning around, putting my hands on my hips. I didn't like that top, cos it was a little too tight, so i took it off, with help from mummy. I done the same with the other clothes, posing in the mirror for each one. I chose to keep 3 tops and 1 pair of trousers, we gave the others to the lady outside. On the way to the bus stop to get to Nana's i moaned all the way saying my legs hurt, i was tired, i wanted to go home. We got to the bus stop, it was really close then i stopped moaning. We sat at the top cos it was a big bus, yay. When we got to nana's i moaned again, cos i wanted a drink from a bottle from the shop, mummy said no and we went in to nana's i was being miserable, nana asked what was wrong and mummy told her. Then i started whinging and mummy said that if i just asked nicely, then she would have taken me, when i stopped whinging, i asked mummy if i could have a bottle of drink and she said yes. We went to the shop and i got a bottle of water and we got uncle alex and nana a chocolate each.

I was happy then. Mummy told me to show nana my new clothes, i got them from the bag and then went under the table to stand next to mummy and got changed, i didn't want nana to see. When i was dressed, i stood in front of nana and showed her, then i got changed again and showed her another top, and another, and then my new shoes. Nana liked them all. I talked and talked and talked, nonsense most of the time, then talked some more. I went in to see the cat, coop and her kitten, i said awww she is cute then sat and watched tv for a little while. Unlce alex came downstairs with alice, and kept moaning, he wanted food and wanted to know when nana was going to make some (nana didn't have any gas) so alex had to make something in the microwave, all he done was moan and moan (it was funny)

When we got home i ate boiled eggs and toast and was full up, i had a shower with mummy and got all wet, i didn't have my hair washed, i hate having my hair washed. At bed time, i had the story that father christmas gave me last year, then snuggled down in to my cosy blanket and mummy gave me a kiss night night

When i got up today, mummy told me that at lunch time we were going to go to someones house and pick a bike up for me (mummy found it on freecycle) i was really really excited.

I played with my farm, i wanted to put echo in the farm house but she kept running away (echo is bigger than the farm house) and then i kept calling mummy cos i wanted to play with my playdough. Mummy came in and said we were going now, so she got me dressed and i moaned cos i didn't want to walk. Then she told me that it was really close to our house, on the same road as the bus stop. I smiled lots then and got ready really speedy. We walked to the end of my road and then mummy told me to look for a 5 and a 2 on a door as the house number was 52. We looked and looked and then when we got past voirreys house, we found it just down the road from hers. I knocked on the door, we waited, then i rang the door bell, we waited, then i rang the doorbell, we waited, then i cried. Mummy said we would go to the shop and have a drink and wait a little while and try again in the minute, i wasn't happy about that and dragged my feet all the way to the shop. After our drink and chocolate, yum yum we went back to the house. As we got near it, i saw 2 ladies outside and when we got closer, the ladies went in to the house, i smiled a big smile, they turned around and saw us and asked if we had come for the bike, i nodded, lots. The lady bought the bike outside, it doesn't have stabilisers, wow, that is so exciting. I said thank you, very shyly and wheeled it home. I really wanted to ride it but i can't ride without stabilisers yet, so had to push it. When we got home, i wanted to show tom so i pushed it in to mummy and toms bedroom and said 'look tom' then wheeled it back out again (tom had a few seconds to look, i wanted to put it in my bedroom) The reason it is in the bedroom is cos a couple of weeks ago, some naughty men broke in to our shed and then the next day, they done it again so my bike and mummy's is in my bedroom til the council can fix the door.

After that mummy got my playdough out for me and i played with that, mummy came in to the living room and asked me if i would like pizza, i said no but then mummy said it would be delivered and i'd have my own box, i said yes then. I at nearly all of my pizza, i was hungry and then i had some of mummys chocolates that she got for her birthday.

Tom went out a little earlier than us cos he had to meet a friend in the pub, mummy took me to aunty sams house cos i was staying there over night, the first time i have stayed at aunty sams. I took my barbie suitcase with me. Mummy gave me a kiss bye and said she would see me in the morning.

When mummy got to the pub, she remembered 'boppy boppy' so sent aunty sam a text saying to ask me to do it, i was shy at first but then i showed aunty sam. I told aunty sam that when tom moves in we are going to have babies, one girl and one boy, i told aunty sam that you sneeze to get a baby out and that the baby was going to land on my bed of baby rabbits. (mummy thinks my imagination is very good)

Today I had to take a teddy in to my school, mummy wasn't too sure if i really did or not, but she let me take it, just incase. I took one of my favourites, he is a cat called Harry. Tom bought him for me when i was a brave girl - when i had a camera put up my nose. I was very excited about taking Harry to school. I walked to the bus stop with mummy and Tom and we waited for our bus, we had to wait a little while as we missed one. The next bus was quite quiet though, so that was good. I looked after the bags and mummy and Tom sat on the seat next to me. I liked looking after all the bags. But then a lady got on the bus and sat next to me, there were loads of seats on the bus and she sat next to me. I sat there for a few minutes and then told mummy i wanted to go and sit next to her (i don't like sitting next to people i don't know on the bus) I sat on mummy's lap and put all the bags on the floor. When we got off the bus, (Tom stayed on cos he was going to see his family) we went to mummy's work (it's next to my school) I have to help mummy get the toys ready for the children, I have to tell her what to put out (mummy works in a nursery)

I have breakfast at mummy's work, i like doing that. Then mummy said quick quick, we're going to be late and we heard my school bell ring, so we had to run out and get to my school. I carried Harry all the way there, with a great big smile on my face. When i put my coat and lunch box away, i took Harry to my teacher and then mummy realised that it was the day to bring a teddy. I wrote my name on a sticky label to stick on Harry (i didn't want him to get lost)

When mummy picked me up from after school club, she asked me what i done at school today and i said 'nothing' (that was the end of that conversation) We had to run for our bus, we got on, phew. I had to sit next to a man who i didn't know, i didn't like that. He got off then, yay cos then mummy sat down next to me.

At home mummy cooked dinner and i ate loads, and didn't get up once, didn't moan, didn't say 'i don't like that' (mummy was surprised) after i ate my dinner, we walked to the bus stop with Tom cos he had to go to work tonight. I was all happy on the way to the bus stop and thought it was funny to walk in front of mummy and Tom, then stop and wiggle my bum at them, and for some reason, i called it 'boppy boppy' then i ran further away and done it again, i done that all the way down our road. Mummy and Tom laughed, mummy laughed at me so much she got a stitch. When we got closer to the bus stop, i started wiggling my bum and walked at the same time, it made my walk really funny. I needed a wee when we got there and mummy told me to go and do it round the corner, she watched me to make sure i didn't run and hide. When i do a wee outside, i bend right over cos i like watching my wee come out (mummy thinks i'm weird lol) Toms bus came and i ran over to him and gave him a cuddle, then i jumped on the bench and shouted him, i told him to watch me. When he sat down, i turned around and wiggled my bum again, Tom laughed.

At home, i had a shower and i didn't scream when mummy washed my hair, i didn't scream when she brushed it either (usually i scream so loud mummy says she's surprised i don't break the windows) then we got snacks (cookies) and cuddled up in my duvet on the sofa, cos mummy told me we could have a DVD night. I started watching Happy Feet but fell asleep after 15 minutes so mummy put me to bed.

Today mummy and tom picked me up from nanny's house, cos we are going out for the day, of mummy's birthday. I got in the car and said bye to nanny. Then we started driving. We went to tesco first, to buy things to eat and drink in the car. Then we were on our way, they wouldnt' tell me where we were going, said it was a surprise. It was quite a long drive, i fell asleep on the way. When i woke up, mummy said we were nearly there. She told me to look out of the window to see if i could see anything. Then she gave me a hint and then so did tom, i smiled, cos i knew it, but didn't say, then i could see it, we were at the sea side :-D i was so excited. Mummy told me that we were going to the sealife centre first, to see sharks and things that live in the sea. When we got there, we paid for the carpark and then went in, i got given a map, and there were numbers on it, that we had to look for, cos there were questions for me to answer on the way around. I was the leader (like i always am) and told mummy and tom the way to go. I was walking round really fast, only looked really quickly at the different sea creatures (mummy and tom didn't get chance to look at everything hehe) Even in the tunnel that you walk through, i looked, said yep, come on. Mummy says it was amazing, seeing turtles, fish and sharks swimming above your head, but i just wanted to find the next number. There was a water park bit there, tom asked me if i was going to go in it, i said no, then tom got hold of mummy and pulled her over to it and got mummy wet, that was funny. It looked like she had wee'd herself. I got a little bit wet, trying to save mummy. Then we found a small park, where i had to walk along balancing beams, i was quite good, but needed tom to help me with some of it too.

I liked the sealife centre, but was really looking forward to going to the seaside. We left there and then walked down to the seashore. When we first got down there, mummy took my shoes and socks off and rolled my trousers up. I walked towards the sea, then didn't want to go in, then did want to go in, then didn't. Finally i went in and liked it, but ran away from the waves as they came towards me. I done this a few times, i started being a bit of a whinge, saying i wanted mummy to come in with me, but she had trainers on, so she told me to go to her, then she would hold my hand. I was really grumpy. Then i cheared up, but only cos mummy told me that if i didn't, we would go back to the car. I got so wet that in the end, i just sat down in the sea, i liked that. It started getting cold so mummy said it would be a good idea to come out for a bit. We went up on to the path, which i was not happy about. Then walked along to go in to weymouth. We saw a big ice cream, mummy said that on the way back, i could get one. We looked for somewhere to eat but couldnt' find anywhere, so went back to the sealife centre, there was a pub there. We had food, i had sausage and mash, i was really hungry. On the way home, it was really dark, i went to sleep on the way home.

I told mummy that i wanted to stop using my bed guard today, cos i'm a big girl now, so she`s taken it off and she's put lots of pillows on the floor, just incase. (i didn't fall out, but did on the 3rd. I didn't believe mummy when she told me though.)

Monday 20th September 2010

When i got up today, i went in to the living room to see echo and boo. I looked everywhere and then went to tell mummy that i couldn't find echo. Mummy came in and looked too, normally echo runs up to us. Mummy looked behind sofas, under units, on top of things, everywhere, even in the bedrooms, even though echo isn't allowed in them. Tom got up too then, he looked everywhere too, mummy looked out of the window (we live two floors up in a flat) and then mummy went down stairs, i didn't know why, but she was checking to make sure echo hadn't jumped out and died. She didn't see echo on the ground, so came back up, we looked some more. We were trying to get boo to show us, but she just wanted cuddles. Then tom got his coat on and went outside. Me and mummy kept looking. Then the doorbell rang and tom was there, with echo on his shoulder. Echo had jumped out of the window and had been hiding the other side of a small flower box downstairs. Mummy looked at the small window that echo must have pushed open, then closed it and said we will never open it again. As soon as boo saw echo, she ran to the window sill that echo had jumped from, mummy and tom laughed, saying it was too late to show us now. Echo wasn't hurt, it was amazing that she was alive.

Tom told me that we were going somewhere today, but he wouldnt' tell me where. We got on the bus and i was excited. When we got on the second bus, when we were nearly there, mummy used her hat that has a long bit on it to put round my eyes as a blindfold, when we got off, i held toms and mummys hand with my blindfold on still. When we got near it, they took my blindfold off and we were in front of Toys r Us. I smiled a huge smile. We went in and started looking around. We were in there for ages. I liked looking at everything. Tom told me that he was going to buy me something, cos i was such a brave girl yesterday (camera up my nose) it took me ages to choose, there was so much. I found a penguin teddy, i carried that around with me everywhere and then we found an emergency services set, where there is a small walkie talkie and 3 vehicles. It is noisy and good fun, i chose that. Then tom said i could choose another teddy too, so i chose a cat. When we had bought them, i said thank you and we went to macdonalds for lunch. I was really pleased with my new toys. I had a good day :-) and i have named the penguin oscar and the cat harry.

Friday 17th September 2010

Mummy told me that we aren't going to school first thing, cos i am going to the hospital, to have a camera put up my nose. (before leaving home, mummy had lots of cuddles with tom, cos she was worried about how i would be) Mummy reminded me that daddy was coming too. On the way to the hospital on the bus i was fine, happy and talking. When we got there, i was asking where daddy was and mummy said she didn't know. We went into the waiting room and i played til my name was called. When we were taken in to a room, a man called mr goodacre (mummy said that this is the man who repaired my cleft palate when i was 6months old) He was asking where the chocolate buttons were, and then he had to get some money out of his pocket to give the nurse, so she could go and get me some. When she came back, he then told me that he would spray something up my nose and that it didn't taste very nice, but i could have a chocolate button. He sprayed it up my nose and i cried, lots. Mummy gave me a cuddle and mr goodacre gave me one, then two and then three buttons hehe. I then calmed down, cos i couldn't taste it anymore. Mr goodacre showed me a long tube with a camera at the end, it was so tiny. Then he told me that it was going to go up my nose now (mummy had talked to me about this so i knew what to expect and was looking forward to seeing my throat on the tv) when he put it up my nose, i cried lots, i wanted cuddles with mummy, but had to sit still, cos the tube was up my nose. Mummy had to try really really hard not to cry as she gave me cuddles from her seat, she was talking to me, reminding me that i had been looking forward to seeing my throat, she pointed to the tv and i started to calm down, then looked at the screen. Mr goodacre then pointed to it and told me that it was my throat. When i had calmed down, he asked me to say some words and when i said them, i made my throat move, i watched it on the screen, it made me laugh. Then because i had been crying, when i said one word, a bubble started in my throat and then popped on the camera, i thought that was funny. When i had said everything i needed to, mr goodacre took the camera out and then gave me some more buttons. He sat there and started to talk to mummy.

He told  mummy that i will need to have another operation as i still have a small hole in my palate, which is why it sounds like there is air escaping when i say 's, f, sh, p' he said i have done really well up to now, not to need surgery before as i have a small soft palate so he is really pleased with me, this made mummy feel very proud. He asked where my daddy was and mummy said he was supposed to be coming to the appointment and she didn't know where he was. He told mummy that it will be 3-4 months for the operation. Mummy had to try really hard not to cry when he was talking to her. When we left, mummy bought me a sausage roll from the shop and we got a bus to go to my school. (mummy had to keep wiping her eyes when she was on the bus, cos she was crying but didn't want me to see) at school, mummy told my teacher how brave i had been and that i would need another operation.
(mummy done really well and didn't cry all day, and didn't cry in front of me once, she waited for me to go to bed and for tom to come home, then she cried lots and had lots of cuddles with tom, that made her feel better)

Monday 13th September 2010

I had breakfast at mummy's work and then it was time to go to school, my first full day. When mummy said bye, she reminded me that i was going to see rachel at the after school club, then she told my teacher too.
When mummy picked me up, rachel told her that when i first went over, i had cried a little bit. But on the way home, i was telling mummy what a good day i had had and was talking all excited about it too, this made mummy happy as she had been worried about me and how i would find my first full day

Sunday 12th September 2010

 Today me and mummy went to jambino's to meet mummy's friend, fiona. I like going there. Mummy and fiona sat and talked and i went off to play. I jumped on the trampoline, climbed up all the stairs to slide down the slide, its very big. I played in the ball pit, i love it. We stayed there for ages and then mummy called me over to her and said we were going to go and get some dinner, i was hungry so i got my shoes on like a good girl. We went to frankie and benny's which is next door, i had a big glass of milk with a straw. I chose to have mash potato, sausage and beans and i ate LOADS!!
Mummy told me that tomorrow is my first full day at school, i didn't get excited, but then she told me that it was my first day at after school club, i got really excited about that cos rachel is going to be looking after me, she has tattoos and i like her

Saturday 11th September 2010

When i got up today, mummy reminded me that we were going bowling with tom, ray and john. I was very excited. Mummy, tom and me got a bus to town and i had a macdonalds while we waited. Then john and ray came. We sat on a big bus with them. I made us all sit at the back. I tried putting my stickers on my toy from macdonalds and was getting really cross at it and with mummy cos she kept asking me if i wanted help. I moved away from everyone and mummy came to me and then she did help me. When we got off the bus, we had to walk a little bit til we got to the bowling. When we got there, i took my shoes off, my feet were smelly. We went and chose a ball for me to use, there were lots. Ray, Tom and mummy helped me, i chose who i wanted to help me. I really liked having ray, john and tom there, it was lots of fun and i never once compained about my toe hurting. Tom was the winner, he got 87, then mummy, she got 86, then me, i got 85 and then ray, he got 83. When it was time to leave, we had to change from our bowling shoes and put on our own shoes again. I still had to wear wellies cos of my toe. On the bus on the way back to town, i took my wellies off and made john, ray,tom and mummy smell my feet, not just sniffing them, but sticking my feet right in their faces (and they really smelt bad) i thought it was really funny and they all said 'eeewwwww' i done it all the way into town

I went back to school today, wearing boots that are 2 sizes too big, to fit over my bandage. I cried a little at lunch time again today.
My toe didn't stop me running around, jumping etc all day, so couldn't have been to painfull hehe

Thursday 9th September 2010

When we got to mummy's work this morning, i stood right behind the door and mummy hadn't noticed. Mummy opened the door (i had sandels on) and the door pushed the toe nail and top layer of skin up on my big toe :'( i cried lots and there was blood on my shoe.(mummy cried when i wasn't looking) I was very brave considering what had happened and mummy put a cold compress on it and when hayley (a lady who works with mummy) got there she helped mummy by cutting a bandage up to make it fit my toe. Mummy took me to my school and told them that i needed to go to the doctors. At the doctors the nurse had to clean it, which made me cry, i was still very brave though and the nurse put a new bandage on my toe and gave me a special bag (a doctors bag) I didn't want to go to school as my toe was very poorly, i went to mummy's work instead

I stayed at school for lunch for the first time today. When mummy came to pick me up, i cried. Mummy got told by my teacher that i had cried at lunch time :-( i went to mummy's work after lunch, i liked doing that :-) When we got home, mummy asked me why i had cried, i told her 'it's just cos i didn't want them teachers to give me a cuddle' (i had hurt my knee and hadn't told them - that was why i cried when mummy came.

Every day this week, i cried when mummy picked me up at lunch time :-(

Thursday 2nd September 2010

When i woke up, i called mummy. She came into my room and i sat up in bed and said 'mummy, remember, i'm going to school today' (it's my first time at big school) mummy smiled and told me that she had remembered (how could she forget her little girl is growing up so fast) I got up and we cleaned our teeth and got dressed together. I went in the living room to see echo and boo (my kittens) When mummy came in, i was very good, i let her brush my hair. I helped mummy put my lunch in my school bag (aunty sam is picking me up from school cos i am only at school til lunch time this week) I ran through and said bye to tom and told him where i was going. Me and mummy left to go and get the bus. I was very excited all the way on the bus. When we got there, we went to tesco (it was only 8am) and we got me some weetabix so i could have breakfast at mummy's work (which is next to my school) I kept saying 'is it time now, is my school open?' At 8:40am mummy told me to get ready, cos my school was open. I got all excited. We walked to my school and we were a little early so we had to wait for the door to be unlocked. There were lots of adults and children waiting. When the door was opened we went in and there were pegs, mummy helped me find my name on a peg. We found it and put my things on it. Then we went into my classroom (it is called the pearl class) Mummy sat down at the playdough table with me. A teacher asked what my name was and mummy told her. It was very busy and one boy was crying. I started to cry too and gave mummy a big, tight hug (mummy had to try really hard not to cry) mummy took me to the side and spoke to me, saying it was only for a short morning, she gave me lots of cuddles. Then mummy told my teacher that i was sad. The teacher came over and told me what i could play with. Mummy held my hand. Mummy told me that she was going to go to work, i took my teachers hand and walked away, i was still a little bit sad, but was being very brave. (at 10:40am mummy went out with her work and the carpark is near my garden of my school, mummy saw me playing in the garden, i was in the sand pit happy. Mummy felt better then, cos she could see i wasn't crying anymore)
When mummy picked me up from aunty sams, i told her excitedly about my morning. Aunty sam told mummy that the teacher had said i had had a good morning.
I told mummy i went on a bike with two seats and i had played with a boy. When we got home, i was pleased to see echo and boo. Tom came before i went to bed and he asked if i had liked school, i told him yes i did.

Sunday 29th August 2010

Joy and Sofia picked us up this morning and we went to tesco with them. We had to buy cakes for pudding. Then we went to Tasha, mark and ellas house. When we got there, i gave ella her birthday present (it was her birthday not long ago) and then we went in to the garden and had some of the chocolate cake, it was yummy. After that, i went to play with sofia and ella, we played on the trampoline, in the sand, with the dolls, in the play house. It was lots of fun. Then tasha came out and said dinner was ready, my things were put near sofia, but i got sad cos i wanted to sit with mummy, so we all moved so i could. It was lasagne for dinner, i don't like that, i did try a little bit, but still didn't like it. So i had some bread and butter, that was nice. After we ate our dinner we had more cake, i only wanted a little bit. Then we went back to play. We played in ella's room too, there are loads of toys up there.

Friday 27th August 2010

Today mummy told me that we were going to cycle to my school, to have a practice. I was excited, cos i'm going to be riding my bike to school. We got our cycling helmets ready, i put mine on upstairs. Mummy packed a small picnic in her bag and then we were ready. I cycled on the path and mummy went on the road next to me. I was really good at cycling (still with my stabilisers) but i had to get off when we walked down the big hill, cos mummu said i would go too fast otherwise and fall off. We got to the cycle track and it was really nice, there was a stream on one side of us and lots of trees, we cycled next to each other and looked for squirrels and birds in the trees. I cycled there in just under an hour!! mummy thought that the first time was going to take me a lot more than that. (its about 2 miles) we went to the park near my school and had our picnic and then i went to play. After a little while, i was ready to go back, so we set off again, it only took me an extra 15 minutes to cycle back :-D

It was raining loads today, i asked mummy if we could go and splash in the puddles. Mummy got excited and we got our wellies on and rain coats. We went out in the rain and had lots of fun, splashing each other lots and i liked catching the rain in my hands and on my tongue. At the shop, i wanted an ice cream, so mummy got one too. We went outside and sat on the very wet wall and ate our ice creams in the rain. People kept giving us funny looks, but i really liked doing that.

When we got up today, mummy told me that we are going to the woods with ray, its called 'shotover' i've never been there before
When ray turned up, he came upstairs first, so i could get ready. Once i had my shoes on, we left. We walked towards the busy road, mummy told me to hold her hand and i wasn't to run off. When we got to the traffic lights, i held ray and mummy's hands. We got to the entrance of shotover and i was allowed to run off. I liked walking through the long grass and along the muddy paths. Then i started moaning a little bit (mummy wasn't surprised) We had to go up a really really steep hill, mummy held my hand to pull me up. At the top of the hill, ray pointed and said that was a sand pit, then he said its more like a mud pit now, but used to be a sand pit when he was little. We got near it and mummy and ray sat down, mummy told me i could go and play, at first, i was a little unsure, didn't want to get messy, but mummy told me that it was ok to get messy, so i started splashing in the mud, there was lots of water cos it had rained yesterday. Then i knelt down and started getting really messy, i liked it lots. I needed a wee, mummy had the shewee with her, so we went behind a bush and i used that, its the first time we have had to use it outside, i liked using that. Then i went back to the mud. I was on my knees, digging into the mud, i loved it, getting really messy. Then i went over to where mummy and ray were talking, there was a big hole that i could stand in and i wanted to make a sandcastle, so ray helped me get some mud ready. We made one, then i stood on it and it broke.
When it was time to go (it had got quite sunny and hot and i didn't have any suncream on and mummy didn't want me to get sunburnt) we walked back down the hill and then started walking along the paths again. I moaned, then i cried and i kept saying 'i just want to get home quicker' mummy tried telling me that we had to walk, there wasn't any quicker way to get home. Then mummy destracted me by showing me dog prints in the mud, so we looked for more and saw some bugs, some squirrels and i liked walking in the long grass. I laid down in the long grass and mummy took a picture and then i told mummy to lay down and i took a picture of her.
When we got home, i took my clothes off and where i was so muddy, under my clothes was all white, it looked like i was wearing white shorts and t-shirt.

When mummy and tom got up today, mummy showed me a piece of paper and told me that we were going to eat there, it was called 'Atomicburgers'

I didn't know what that was, so we got on the bus and then had to walk a little bit. When we got in there, there were toys everywhere, i really liked it. We sat down and i got a drink. Mummy told me that i could have a burger or a hotdog, i chose a hotdog. It was called 'rocket dog' when it came out, it was really long and i had loads of chips too. I ate loads of my hotdog, nearly all of it and a few of my chips but i was full up. Mummy and tom told me that after, we were going to go and have an ice cream too, at an ice cream parlour down the road. When mummy and tom finished, we walked to the ice cream parlour and i chose to have chocolate ice cream in a tub, tom and mummy had a cone. I got a spoon too. I ate it all up and was really full up after that. When we went to wash our hands, when we dried them, the hand drier was right above the sink, it made the water go everywhere, mummy and me thought that was funny, so we done it again.

Monday 16th August 2010

When i woke up today, tom was home :-) (he has been away at bloodstock for the weekend) mummy told me that today, we are going to meet joe and joel and go bowling, i can't wait. We all get a bus to cowley centre and we see nana inside, cos we had to go and get a sausage roll to eat. (that is the first time nana has met tom) When we left, we were waiting at the bus stop and nana came and parked next to us and mummy said that nana was giving us a lift. We all got in, that was better than getting a bus, cos we were late already. Nana couldn't take us all the way there, but dropped us off near it, so we only had a little walk then. Joe and Joel were waiting outside for us. I smiled when i saw them. Inside, we had to take our shoes off and then put our bowling shoes on. Me and joel had the sides up when it was our go. I kept choosing who was going to help me, cos i need to use the ramp as the balls are too heavy for me still. I got a strike when Tom helped me.

Me and Joel beat the adults at bowling, it was fun. When we finished, we went outside and stood for ages, i got bored and said can we go now, so we walked with joe and joel back to joe's car and then we said bye and had to walk to the bus stop to go home

Friday 13th August 2010

Mummy's friend Ian came to stay today, i was looking forward to seeing him cos we haven't seen him since last year and i have presents from christmas to give him. We got on the bus to go to headington to meet him and i sat on the floor, the bus kept vibrating everytime it stopped. I said 'mummy, my voice is bumpy' mummy laughed. When we got to headington, ian was there already, so we went over to where he was and said hello, ian gave me a cuddle. We walked back to the bus stop and got on the bus to go home. When we got home, i couldnt' wait to give him his presents. I gave him the one from me first, it was a keyring with a photo of his children in and then i gave him the present from mummy, that was a photo frame of his children too. Ian really liked it and said he didn't have any photo's of them. Then ian gave me a present that was for christmas last year too, it was a stamp set, i was excited and wanted to start doing it straight away. I sat at the table and done lots of stamping. Mummy told me that we were going to have pizza for dinner, yummy. Me and mummy shared a pizza and ian had a big one all to himself. I liked having pizza.

Today me and mummy went to pitt rivers museum/Oxford university museum of natural history.

 We walked around pitt rivers first, that is quite a dark museum, so i used a torch and we were given a map, i had to find wooden mice around the museum to tell the way. I really liked doing this, but i was more interested in the mice than i was in any of the things in the cabinets. Then we went in to the oxford university of natural history museum and that was more interesting, big dinosaurs, snakes, crocodiles, we spent ages in there looking round. These are some of the things we saw.....

BUT out of all of the amazing things that were there, mummy thought it was funny, cos my favourite part wasn't seeing the dinosaurs etc, no, my favourite part was going to the toilet and realising they have a hand drier that you put your hands inside and it blows them with air from both sides, now that was exciting :-D

Monday 11th August 2010

Today me and mummy stayed inside for the morning and then this afternoon, mummy told me that we were going to see Ray at his friends house, that is just down the road from our home. We walked there and when we got there, ray opened the door and a dog ran out, the dog was really excited. We went in and ray showed us the garden. The dog had lots of toys in the garden and i wanted to throw some for it. I looked and found a ball and a rope, i threw it, but it didn't go very far, so i kept trying, the dog wouldn't let go once it got the toy though, ray had to get it back for me. I liked playing in the garden, at the bottom of the garden there was a swing and right at the bottom, upside down, there was a slide, ray asked if i would like to play with that and of course i said yes, so that meant he had to get it out for me. The slide was wet, so he dried it for me. I liked going up the steps and sliding down and then i went on the swing, there was a funny swing, i liked that but needed mummy's help. Tom came too, he came after me and mummy had been there a little while. I kept shouting for mummy to come and help me on the swing. When it was time to go, ray took the dog for a walk and we all walked together. Tom stayed at the bus stop and ray went to shotover. When we were walking down our road, there were lots of adults shouting at each other. Mummy told me to keep walking, not to look and it would be ok. When we got past them, i asked mummy 'is it cos they don't love each other?' (they were fighting)

Today me and mummy sorted out all of my socks, i have loads. I helped mummy lay them all out and then together we found the pairs, i tried rolling them in to balls. I found more pairs than mummy did. When we had sorted all of the pairs out, mummy counted how many odd socks i was left with, she counted 66 odd socks!!! WOW!!!

Mummy was very pleased with me today, it is the first time that i haven't got cross with her when we have been practising my speech therapy exercises. I didn't get cross, i said my leaky balloon sounds and snake sounds and said words right :-D

We stayed in today and i wanted to take a picture of me, mummy and tom altogether, we were all cuddling on the sofa and i held the camera out to take a picture and it was a funny picture, then mummy had a go and so did tom, tom managed to get a nice one of us all, i liked having our photo altogether. I took lots of pictures of mummy and tom too. I had a chocolatey face and mummy took a picture of me with my mouth wide open and with chocolate all round it too.

Wednesday 4th August 2010

Well today we stayed in and it rained and rained and rained outside, loads of it and it was really fast too. Mummy said 'quick, get dressed, lets go and splash in some puddles' so we got dressed, really fast and got our wellies, raincoats and hats on and went outside. It hadn't stopped raining so that was good. On the way to the shop, we splashed each other, to see who would get the wettest. When we had been in the shop, we walked the long way home, so we could do more splashing. Mummy splashed in a puddle so hard that all of her trousers were wet and they tried falling down, it was funny. Even my knickers got wet cos i splashed so hard.
When we got home and dried, mummy told me we were going to make sock puppets (i had asked yesterday and mummy said we would do it today) i chose 6 socks and then we got my box of paints, sequins etc out and chose things we would use for our puppets. I gave mummy a sock and i had a sock, we stuck beads, buttons, sequins and lots of things to them, i really liked making sock puppets, i made 3 and so did mummy. We had to put them in the hallway to dry cos boo and echo kept wanting to look at them.

I had to see Lucy (my speech therapist this morning) Tom came with us, i liked that. When we got there, mummy and tom listened as me and lucy played games and done lots of talking. When i had finished, we went to the bus stop. We got a bus and i picked a bus timetable, i was looking at it and was pointing to things on it, then pointed to the cross (for the hospital) and tom said that it looked like a pirates map to him, i liked that idea and then i decided that we were all pirates, i was the captain. When we got off the bus in headington, we had to wait at another bus stop, i told mummy and tom we needed to wait in a line, and i had to be at the front cos i was the captain. I told mummy and tom that we were on a ship (the bus) i liked this game. When we got in to town, i got the map out and we had to find the treasure. We walked along the road (no buses go on one of the roads in town) and i stopped at one of the square slabs and said the treasure was there and we had to dig, i showed mummy and tom how to dig (using our webs we have in our wrists) so we all had to stand at an edge each and we dug for the treasure, when we found it, i looked after it in my pockets and then we walked along again, in a line. I stopped at another square and said that there was more treasure under that one, so we all had to dig again. When we had dug up lots of treasure, i ran out of room in my pockets and had to look after it in my mouth. We done this all the way to the pub where we were going for lunch. When we were waiting for our food, i turned the 'map' over to the pirate writing (bus times) and i told mummy and tom that our pirate names were on there. I told tom his name was 'Pirate Mac 'n' Jack' mummy was 'Pirate Pikapong' and i was 'Captain Picpucpuc' i pointed to where all of them names were. I drew a picture of us all as pirates too.

Juanita came to my house today, we were going to the cinema, yay. We went to tesco and bought some food for the cinema, i got popcorn and maltesers. We went to watch Shrek Forever After. I sat next to mummy. Mummy and Juanita kept laughing, very loud when we were sat there. I ate lots of popcorn and nearly all of my maltesers. At the end of the film, we had to wait til last to leave cos some people had been looking back at mummy and Juanita cos they were laughing so much, it was funny.

Today mummy told me that it is nana's birthday, i was excited cos i had a present to give her. Mummy told me that we were going to go to the club that nana drinks at, we got on the bus (i took my pink suitcase and put nana's present in there) when we got to the bus stop, i wheeled my suitcase along the road, we had quite a long walk to the club. When we got there, there were lots of people there. I gave nana her present, she liked it :-) We stayed for a little while, but mummy said we had to walk home. We said bye to everyone and then started walking, then mummy told me to leave my suitcase with nana, so i took it back to her. I walked all the way home (2.2 miles) mummy got me to walk by telling me to stand on the leaves, i liked listening to them crunching. I found all of the crunchy ones and ran lots of the way, to get to them before mummy did. Then when we got near cowley centre, mummy asked me if i would like pizza for dinner, i asked if i could have my own one, she said i could :-) so we went in and i waited and waited, then it was ready, i got my own little box with my pizza in. We walked home and i held it, but then wanted to eat some, so mummy let me, but i didn't want help, so i tried opening it and i dropped some of my pizza on the floor, i cried, but mummy said it didn't matter, there were other pieces, so i stopped crying and we carried on walking. I was very tired when i got home, i ate my pizza and went to bed not long after. 

Monday 26th July 2010

We drove tom to work this morning and when we were nearly there, mummy stopped driving. Tom got out and had to push ruby to the side of the road, mummy told me that ruby was broken and we would need to phone the people to come and fix her for us. When tom had pushed us across the road, he had to go to work cos he was going to be late. Mummy phoned the RAC and i was allowed to get out of my seat. I played with some toys that i had in the back and then started getting bored. Mummy told me we had to wait for the man to come in the orange van, we sat and looked for the van, mummu told me that it would have flashing lights too. When i saw it, i pointed and got excited. The man stopped his van behind ruby. I was allowed to get out, i sat on the bench near where ruby was while the man got under my ruby. When he looked under her, he then got in and pressed the pedal (mummy told me that it was the clutch pedal) the man said that he couldn't fix it at the side of the road, did mummy know anyone that he could take it to for her. Mummy phoned leigh who fixed ruby last time, leigh told mummy that he could do it for her. Then the man in his van drove off, i wondered where he was going. Mummy told me to watch him, he drove around and moved his van so that he was in front of ruby, then he opened the back of his van and i watched amazed as he moved bits and then a machine made parts come out and then ruby was pulled on to bits in the van. Mummy told me that he was going to pull ruby to the garage. Then mummy told me we were going to sit in the van, i smiled a HUGE smile. We got my car seat out and mummy sat it in the van, i told her that i wanted to sit in the middle of her and the man, and i was allowed cos it had a proper seat belt. I talked all the way, the man took me and mummy home and then took ruby to leigh at the garage.
(we never got ruby back again, cos ruby was broken :-(  )

Well mummy is rubbish, she put my diary somewhere 'safe' and has only just found it. So she is now going to have to go on to facebook (a social site where you put a status about what you are doing-incase facebook doesn't exist when i'm older) Anyway, she has to go on there and look at all the days she has has missed, so she can write about our summer holiday.
(mummy says sorry for losing it, she will give it to me to put somewhere safe next time - mummy's memory isn't very good hehe)

We took tom to work today. I ate lots in the car on the way there.
After we dropped tom off, we went to see aunty brenda and i had chocolate. We stayed there a little while and then brenda and neil had to go out. They were meeting nana and chris at the pub for dinner.
We went home and i watched chicken run when mummy was cooking dinner.
After dinner mummy finished watching the film we had started watching with dinner and i went and played with my berties in my bedroom.
I had cake and then the kittens came back in. I had lots of cuddles with boo and echo.

Saturday 17th July 2010

When i got up, mummy told me that grandad (her dad) was coming to fix ruby (car). When tom was dressed, he had to go cos he was going out. I said bye to tom. We waited and waited for grandad, then he turned up. He took our old tyre off and put the new one on.
After ruby was fixed we had to go and put air in the new tyre. Then we went shopping-food shopping, very boring. At home, mummy cookede a pizza for me and her and we watched a DVD

Friday 16th July 2010

Me and mummy got in the car and mummy reveresed and then stopped. She got out and walked around the car. Then got back in and went forward again. Mummy told me that we had to get a bus cos the car had a flat tyre. I looked and it was very flat. We got a bus and then walked to my nursery, i kept saying i was fed up.
When mummy picked me up, i was in spare clothes and had very wet hair. They told mummy that the children had got wet when they had a water fight in the garden. Mummy was not happy! Cos it is very windy and wet today (mummy wrote a letter of complaint to the nursery)

We got up and mummy went in the kitchen and made lots of picninc things. When we were dressed and ready, we got in the car and went to cutteslowe park again. I chose where to sit. We put a blanket out and sat and ate our picnic. There were lots of people there. There was an old lady sat in a pushchair!! That was funny, i told mummy it might break. After our picnic we went and fed the ducks. I was the leader and mummy followed me back to the play park. We spent 4 hours at the park. I told mummy we should come here with tom one day. I had a really nice day.
